That Isle Kyron board is actually 8.375, my bad! I alternate between 8.38/8.375 & 8.5.
not trying to be a dick here….what’s the difference?
Absolutely nothing to be honest! I mean, some people who are super picky with board dimensions would probably be able to tell a difference, but these are just sizes that fit my trucks. I literally skate a different shape/board every time and just get used to it after 1 session. I won't let the madness get me!
I will usually ride boards in those options, all on 149s too.
The 8.38 or 8.375 are usually about the same, if not just the number being ever so slightly different, but the 8.5 is more often a bit bigger overall in dimensions, sometimes longer, both wheelbase and length, but not always. It really depends on the brand for the shapes, as some do have shorter boards, some bigger more full shapes, others longer, etc.
Most commonly, going by usual shapes from some suppliers:
8.38 x 32 to 32.2 with 14.25 to 14.38 wb, sometimes 14.5 wb like DLX boards.
8.5 x 32.4 to 32.6 with 14.5 wb, sometimes 31.8 length with 14.25 wb though.
Isle being BBS / Generator still, or was that something else now, like Clutch wood?
I'm not sure, but I'd like to know. The woodshop thread says that Isle is BBS for the US but HLC for EU - I want to know how accurate this is
Where are you in the world, just continent or country?
Did you grip the board yourself or was it gripped when it got to you?
Either way, BBS would have a spoon like concave in the kicks, as well as a 14.38 to 14.5" wheelbase on a 32 or so long deck, usually with a single dimple dot indent on top around the front bolts area, maybe even a BBS / Generator size sticker, if they were going through one of the in between distros.
HLC always have 14.2 wheelbases on all their boards (if that is still correct) and more of a flattish face on the kicks, often a shorter 31.8 or something board too, but the length I can't quite remember now.
As to keeping the Woodshop list up to date, Isle was one of the companies that seemed to have a bit of a hard time getting wood after 2020 so might have been back on BBS for everything now, or might still be on one for USA and other for EU, but it is all down to people passing on current info / posting in the woodshop thread so it can be updated.
I haven't seen any Isle boards recently but the last one someone had was BBS. I don't know where they were in the world though.
Without any other info, measuring the length and wheelbase might give a better indication.
* Clutch has a letter and number stamp on top between the front bolts too, just in case it was on a Clutch deck.

Dimensions I think will be the best help, or what was on the top between front bolts - dot / dimple or the letter and number stamps.
