So many rad local brands right now in Central Texas. Killing it!

Golden Age Industries "Floating Friends" 8.5x32x14.3
Venture VLT 5.8
Spitfire F4 CF 53mm/99a
Bones Swiss 6
Slappy 7/8" allen
Pepper midnight (they didn't have galaxy)
Dunks
Damn.
Probably the best graphic I've seen in years.
Damn.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

who are they pressed by?

Dunno the woodshop but it had a Made in USA sticker on the top. Look them up on the socials if you want more info.

consistently one of the best graphics out
if there was a graphic hall of fame (is there?)
it would be first ballot

Powell flight construction twin tail 8.3" x 31.61" x 14" x 6.71"
Pepper g5
Modus 7/8 allen
Indy standard 144 w/ hard bones top/stock bottom bushings
Spitfire classic 54mm 93a
Bones swiss 6 no shields

Got tired of breaking boards again

I couldn't find my acetone to blank the whole thing off so I just sanded it a bit, painted it brown, put a bird on it and clear coated over that

In other news I think I found some covered/indoor spots so I'll be able to grind some shit for the first time since like, early October

8.25* Crail Perez twin on the new BBS wood
Brand damn new Venture 5.6 V-Hollow with flat top washer that comes with Bones Hardcores + stock bushings**
52mm OG Classics
Swiss
Pepper
Girl longnecks

Bummed I won't be able to skate this for weeks/month or more due to a minor hamstring pull and pain at the top of foot/ankle.

*Double bummed that actual measurement shows <8.25. And most bummethed Crail switched to BBS. Giving this a shot because I love all the G069s I've had but if the new wood is like other BBS, this will be the last.

**Tried my usual Indy orange cylinders, broken in, then Bones Hardcores (medium), new, and surprisingly neither turned as well as Venture stocks. This is my first time ever on Ventures.

After 7 weeks off board due to injury i finally skated this today. Having only 2 hrs on it, I can say it skated great. I mean, new deck, no surprise right? It is similar to the OG G069 shape although feels slightly pointer. Still good and mellow.

Been going through mental gear madness while waiting to be able to skate again and I’ve had a few sessions back and I’m trying to dial in something that feels good.

DBX real ishod 8.5
Thunder inverted 149
Swiss six
53 F4 classics

Got the dbx thinking it would be similar to the 8.5 eagle dbx I had but this is way fuller which actually I’m kinda digging.

Will ask here as well. I know it's probably been asked somewhere but the internet is failing me today..

Hockey 8.44 shape 2 deck - same dims or different to the dlx 8.5 boards?

And another - limo 8.38 and baker 8.475 - are they the same as the dlx 8.5 boards?

In the UK I can only seem to find "made in china" dlx decks and with them being the same price as the others it's got me looking elsewhere. Unless someone can tell me if the pro boards are not made in china? I've no idea at the moment

FYI: don’t be afraid of those China DLX decks.
They’re not bad at all.
I enjoyed the one I was privy to & I’d gladly ride another, but I’m in the states & we don’t get ‘em here.
A bit stiffer, but solid all the same.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me… You think you got me?

Word. China DLX's are solid. Decks last a long ass time and can take a beating.

i'm skating a limo 8.3 and it's identical to the navy eagle i had just before this, no idea whether or not they're china but i'm in the us if that means anything
