The best wheels I’ve ever skated would objectively be some F4 I’ve had over the past couple years.

But the wheels I look back most fondly on were the couple pairs of Autobahns I had back in the early 00s. This pair of green ones stand out in particular. Really loved those wheels and that company.

Socal has them again with dual duro. I personally settled on easy streets v1 53mm

99a F4 52mm Classics, rode those bad boys until they were around 49mm. Then I went up and got 101a 54mm Conical Fulls and Radials. Cínica la are my favorites hands down.

For cruising Key Frames are the best. Got them in 56mm and love them.

The wheel I can remember now is the conical full 101 53 slid those out till they were like 49's then left them in CA haha.

Right now I'm addicted to a set of 99d conicals which were 53 but are 46mm now. They suck on Iowa streets but I just love them. Been trying to skate my local ramp and it's hard to keep speed while pumping.

Any wheel shape recommendations other than conical full? I want to try a set of radials and classics.
Had a set of lock ins that where okay. Shrunk a little fast.

Can someone start a favorite truck thread?

Theres a few trucks posts in this section if you scroll around. I personally love the newer ATG tensor maglight 5.75. And I prefer the v1 shape of bones stfs to the classic f4 spitfires. I havent messed with other spirfire shapes besides f4 classics but I also found the tablets to just look weird. Id prob get conical or conical full if getting new f4s

My favorite all rounders are F4 99As 56mm.

But in perfect conditions on perfect concrete bowls, my favorite are bones spf 84Bs 60mm P5 shape. Fast, grippy, and I have more control of the slide

I think my favorite trucks I've ever had was a set of Indy Fordged Hollows. Those things are beast. Skated those until they were destroyed.
I don't like the new Indy bushings

I am currently skating a set of ventures, 5.8's to be exact. I actually really enjoy these trucks, my only gripe is that the hangar part is pushed out a lot. I think the happy medium between those to brands is thunder.

A few years back when I got the Justin Brock F1 100du "Bock" Spits in 53mm I thought I had everything figured out. Now leaning to a softer wheel in my old age and loving my Soft D's 95 duro for low impact shizzle.

It wasnt socal but one of the big shops is carrying them now. I love the dula duro 100s and want to try the 97s..Just a smaller contact patch in most of their wheels except the torus which are wider.

Yeah those forged hollow 149s are great trucks. I used hardcore bushings w them and theyre my number two since getting the new maglights. Once I got used to the freakishly light feel of them and super smooth grind, I am a convert to them. Turning radius is simiular to forged indies but a tad but more stable when moving feet into position. Some people prefer a less lightweight truck for the feel but man, flips and pressure type tricks and bigspins have never been easier after skating them for a week. I cant rec them enough

I've religiously bought and skated Bones STFs since they came out or when I first saw them years ago (don't remember when). I tried a Plan B wheel, some F4s, and a Primitive wheel since then, and Bones have been the absolute best of all of them.
The primitive and plan b were just for fun since they came with the deck for free. Wanted to see if they even measure up and it's no contest at how bad they are.

Prior to Bones my favorite wheel was some Rictas I had. Spitfire sucked before 2012, imo. Every Spitfire I had back then flat spotted, broke exposing the core, or just fell apart.

STF V1, V4, or V5 are the truth in 53-55mm
Bones feel plastic to people? Never felt that ever.

some of my favorite wheels ever were some Tom penny ghetto child’s from around 2003. 54mm I believe...
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Bones STF v3s have been my go to for years but I think they stopped making the 50mm. I bought some kontrol spins for 10 bucks last Black Fridays and they seem to be doing the trick.

100% agree. I went to V4 STFs and I miss my easy streets  :'( I can't seem to find them too often anymore. Hopefully, they don't/did discontinue them.

Yea f4 is the obvious choice, I'm on some tablets rn and really like them. That said, Ricta nrg formula is the sleeper pick.

You might be right! I don't remember if I've had 99 STFs before. I probably have and didn't realize it. I think the Easy Streets introduced the 99a durometer on STFs?

Sometimes you wanna feel the street, sometimes you don’t.
