been listening to a lot of defeater lately. If you like hardcore or storytelling it's a great band. All their albums are an interconnected story of a family torn apart by the war.

Also counterparts has been on repeat lately. I guess I've just really been into hardcore lately but I'm more focused on the writing. Counterparts just puts being a human into perspective for me. Been really into these two songs the last few weeks.

And

Yeah i really like both bands. Last defeater album is kind of a let down but the new counterparts is really good!!

Today i couldnt stop listening to the new Basement song:

Really hyped for this release.

Thought I'd plug this band from my hometown, Hallo Venray. Kind of sonic youth-y early 90's guitar music, but could also have posted this in the psychedelic thread maybe. They have been around since the 80's, never made it big but are still at it today. Always thought they'd go well with skating.

^So good, all of Ty Segall's shit and associated acts are on point. The best part is how prolific he is, seems like I'm always finding more and more music he's put out that I haven't heard.

I just found out about this band the other day and ive been really into their first two albums. they sort of sound like a mix between chrome and gang of four to me. i also never wouldve thought of them being from the early 90s. definitely a more mid 80s or early 2000s vibe in my mind.
