^Hyped on that Ricky Eat Acid song(and Sam Ray's stuff in general).  Does anyone else really miss Women?  Listened to Public Strain last night and stumbled on the lead singer's other band:

All you got is today, get out and skate.

Cool to see someone else on here who's a Ricky Eat Acid fan.
That project's been one of my music obsessions lately.

But you mean he's got solo stuff too, or something?
Any recommendations?

The Ricky Eat Acid stuff doesn't really connect with his other work but he's been involved in at least these projects:
1) Ricky Eat Acid(obvs)
2) Julia Brown - https://cool.bandcamp.com
3) Teen Suicide - https://teensuicide.bandcamp.com
4) Starry Cat - https://starrycat.bandcamp.com/
He's definitely at his best in Ricky Eat Acid but he made a couple good songs in Teen Suicide.
All you got is today, get out and skate.

I never really use to dig male singers with a higher pitched vocal range, but I'm loving this dude. The first concert I ever went to with friends (2007-ish) featured him in a band named "circa survive", that I didn't particularly care for much at the time. Wish I would have enjoyed it more.

Parts 1 and 2. A rather intense listen best experienced on headphones in a dark room.

Someone introduced me to circa survive a few years back... went to look it up and came across the solo stuff instead. Always thought this song was pretty sick.

learned the rhythm part of this last night. pretty easy and really fun.

just found this cover today. might try to learn it tonight. chords and tabs look super easy.

also got a leak of the new XX album. its pretty good, but not really the kind of music i typically listen to. i bought my girl tickets to see them for her birthday, so hopefully that will be fun.

Anyone remember this from a old creature edit? No, they dont deal with blacks, but they also kill whites in other songs so dont catch feelings. I learned alot of mexican spanish from this band.

ha, that song was on the bong olympics segment of big brother's 'shit'. i made a hitchhike sign in el paso 'east, si! conejo, no!' to good effect.

The (not so) new A Tribe Called Quest album. It's really, really good, any group that samples Gentle Giant is great in my book.

Hell yeah. Continuing on the same tread: those same friends I had were also into raving at the time and loved Deadmou5, though they hated he was garnering mainstream success at the time. Never listened to him much, but came across this one that's pretty damn dreamy:

new ty segall album. im hoping this is a poor quality vinyl rip because the production is pretty bad and muddy sounding, even for a garage rock album. im only a few songs in and i like it so far, but the sound quality is not as good as id like it to be.
