I get why people are quick to throw him in a river with no disregard to smothering the boy in suntan lotion and mayonnaise - but his skateboarding is indeed fucking crazy and he’s definitely earned a spot wherever he goes. He also pumps out more footage than a lot of people on the teams he’s on. It’s just a shame he has no soul and will burn in hell for eternity.

The bigger shame is that back knee collapsing inward and arms over the head every time he does anything more than ollie off a curb. Makes his footage pretty not fun to watch, for as wild as it is.

But sure, give him money to skateboard I guess.

He did a cool fs wall ride at the dime glory challenge in 2018 but I havent followed his footage enough to pass judgement. They also extended the gap to 18 feet and ishod did that frontside so meh

Hate this kid because his name sucks, his nick name sucks, and apparently his attitude sucks.

That's the thing about skating in 2020.... doesn't really matter how good you are because there's 428429 other kids just as good, if not better. That's the interesting thing about being pro these days. Ben Kadow, who is way better than I ever was, shouldn't be a pro, but he's got style. Conversely you got a guy like T FuNk who is much better than Kadow, but I'd rather watch Ben.

People that hate on that and the knees bending are simply against having fun while skateboarding, for them you have to be as still as antwuan doing your tricks or otherwise you're a kook.

I like T-Funk's skating. I like his trick/spot selection. Decent gnar level (without totally marrying himself to that lane). Style isn't outstanding, but doesn't bother me. Kits are trendy, but not to a terrible degree. The Kader/T-Funk shared part was one of my favourites in Baker 4. I'm too old to idolize a 20 year old, but if I were 14, I'd probably go out of my way to buy his board/shoes/whatever.

I can't speak to the 'he's an asshole' rumors, but if he's not much more of an asshole than the average boy in his teens or early 20's with any kind of money or notoriety, I do not care.

He might not get a pro model on the bigger brands, but he definitely deserves to get paid by a shoe sponsor. His DC pro model just looked like a Converse All Star in footage, so I guess Cons could be a fit. Vans seems most likely, especially with the Baker connections, and with them now just wanting 896 skaters on the team for whatever reason. He's not my favourite or anything, but I truly don't get how some of you hate this guy so much.
