Steve Berra is a smart dude, I will give him that. Because of his history in the industry, I think he is able to recognize talent and potential that is applicable to the industry in someone before they themselves do.

By doing this he is able to con young up-and-comers like "Skategoat" into being part of his lame projects because he doesn't actually have anything worthwhile to contribute to the industry himself. You can see this in the Berrics instagram as it is essentially just a repost account (that should be compensating every single person whose content they repost, but that is a different story).

In the end, Steve gets to make a quick buck and the talent he used will forever have the mark on their record of being part of some lame scientologist shit with Steve "Fake Spots" Berra.

It's a damn shame LeAndre is being led into this because it's not going to be a long lasting career with how corny it looks. Sure, a bunch of the kids on the Berrics Instagram like it, but he'll be forgotten just like Cody Cepeda was. Cody got taken under Steve's wing and now he's irrelevant. LeAndre will probably get blacklisted from the industry soon enough. I hate it for him because he's obviously talented and could go far, but now he'll probably just be under Steve's wing until he fades back into the Venice scene.

I live in the US but prefer my checks in Canadian  currency.  I’m not sure if you know but we currently have a dipshit president and a looming election soon, just trying to plan for the future.  I promise my move won’t slow down my output but I really could use a box.  I skate anything from 6.8 to 7.1 and 4T t-shirts.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that over his weekend he went from skating in Nikes (which he just got hooked up with not too long ago, made a post about it and seemed genuinely stoked about, which I would have been as well honestly), to skating in some brand of shoes ok pretty sure no one has ever heard of that isn't yet even involved in skateboarding. They seem like a direct to consumer, internet brand of shoes. Don't quote me on that, I know absolutely nothing about them.

I feel like either skaters on here are either really out of touch or in just plain denial but if you dont know why the berrics is still a "thing" then I question how much skate media you even consume. Youtube skateboarding is HUGE and only getting bigger. Whether thats a good thing or not can be argued but thats the reality of it.

Codys only merit was being good at batb. Got decent ledge skills but no where near good enough to justify that god awful style. Obviously was never gonna last long.

Leandre's skating is way more interesting, but don't know if he's talented enough to put out a legit part. So far all I've seen is skatepark footy. Might have a run as some sort of a berrics personality with just that, but that gimmick will be beat to death in a couple years

Exactly. This guy made his name at Venice skate park. Not turning him pro there seems like a huge miss. Covid and all that, but it’s not like that’s stopping anyone from going there.
