Pantone is the company that effectively sets and regulates the color trends for the coming years. They standardize colors, assigning everything a Pantone number. Frankly I’m surprised Cariuma is the first skate company (that I know of) to partner with Pantone, since design is such a large aspect of skating.

Odd type choices here.

Initially I thought it was Helvetica Condensed, but the top of the lowercase t is cut off at an angle like Arial, but the end strokes of the "C" and "S" are horizontal whereas Arial's are angled, so it appears to be neither.

I'm fairly sure it's Univers Condensed Bold and Regular. It doesn't look exactly right, but I think that might be down to the screenprinting. No idea why they chose to use a condensed version of the typeface – I can't imagine they were unable to identify the original. Trying to skirt copyright? I'm not sure what the point would be since it's clearly a rip.

So yeah, not quite Impact, but 100% Impact Bold lookin' ass trash.
