Your point sucks because he's still a known alleged rapist, regardless of how highly regarded his work is, and skateboarding should eschew working with ALL sexual abusers, racists, rapists, etc, not just famous ones.

And yes, Toy Machine has still left up posts about the collaboration on their Facebook. As to what will happen to the boards going forward, how am I supposed to know if they're already on their way to shops or will be sold without promotion if they're not going to address and rectify this incident in the most minimal of fashions? Why am I supposed to give them the benefit of the doubt after all this?

You lose the benefit of the doubt when you work with known alleged rapists to create a misogynistic board graphic atop the brand owner's shady past few years, which were already outlined in this thread - the same way I don't give Baker the benefit of the doubt when it comes to a lot of stuff regarding drugs and alcohol. agreed. i will occasionally skate the toy machine fists board or any other logo board that they first put out 25 years ago, and i don’t buy them because i give a shit about what they are currently doing. i buy them because i loved welcome to hell and jump off a building. those boards i mentioned remind me of when they were doing something cool with the brand and had an incredible team.

someone or something must have been totally fucked at tum yeto to have made all of those great team riders dip back in the day. do they still have the same management from 20+ years ago?

take a look at the tum yeto website, it’s absolute trash. terrible layout, difficult to navigate shop and they don’t have any type of blog/ad archive/team page. huge missed opportunity to do cool shit over there.

Let's be real. This fucking sucks. This artist dude majorly sucks. Toy machine fucking sucks, I wish it didn't, but it has for a while and more so does now.

Incidentally, for letting this slip through the cracks, Ed fucking sucks too. I wish he didn't, but it has been brewing for a while with his monotonous HB pier shtick and it's more evident now. I'm not saying I actually think he's a pervert as I'm aware he's a well known artist/street photographer and the work is subjective. However I do feel over the years that the lines do get quite blurred.. especially when you make it your daily specialist 'thing''.
