I wear a size 32 usually but I bought some Americanas on sale a few years ago, I think in 31”, they fit like 36” I felt. Any insight into that dude ^^^? I loved them otherwise but Im the type of person who believes a belts job is to scrunch up oversized pants to hold em up.

I normally wear a size 30 in most pants if I don't feel like using a belt, but with these the 30 fits more like a 32! I'd say the waist is similar to Polar 93s or any of the Carhartt WiP work pants in that sense. I'd say try and find a 30 or even a 29 on sale if possible and feel it out from there!

Ah thank you for the response. Yeah I was very surprised. I’ve never worn a 29 but I feel like with the way I remember these fitting, I might need to try.

@Frontside Slappy Digging the shoes, the hair and the hat and the mellow ambiance of your apartment.

@Freelancevagrant Hard as always.  :)

It's so odd that even men's pants these days have vanity sizing. There are no sizes, it's literally a standard measurement, and yet...

Vanity sizing is real. I'm not gonna say what my hips measure but they're XL for sure and I fit into a much lower waist size pretty regularly. Dickies is the only brand that I've tried that keeps it 100.

Yep. 874’s keep it pretty real. Even dickies jeans can be iffy. Just started breaking in some new carhartt bibs and they’re laughably oversized - so bad I washed them and I used to take pride in not washing workwear.

Does it trip you American’s out that the rest of the world wears your sporting team goods a shit ton??  All the way back to NWA and all the Raiders gear. I know there’s been a massive shift in America not really leading the fashion world as much as it did anymore, but damn, y’all ran the game for decades.

I really don’t know where I’m going with all this but as an Australian going to an American baseball game (such a fun time) after seeing it on tv, movies etc. it was so rad to buy stuff from the actual stadium

Y’all must think the rest of the world is chumps for wearing LA/SF/NY and most of the time the people wearing it have never ever been on a plane haha.

Weird rant/story over.

I was watching a Youtube video from a foreign country the other day and there was some b-roll in it of folks milling about. One dude had on a Dodgers cap and a Yankees jersey on and it gave me pause.

Fuck brand, team or city bashing. This dude was coast bashing and it made me uncomfortable on an OCD level.

Second this, anytime I see someone running my teams' gear I'm down for them. Especially considering I'm a good 6 hours south of any of my home teams hahaha.

As a Cleveland sports fan, thirded.

I personally think baseball logos/colors are a lot cooler than football club jerseys Americans wear with a ton of corporate logos on them

Do those Carhartt shirts run big? I was looking at them on Amazon, I need summer shirts to cover a ballistic vest. It’s getting too hot for these pendletons.
