Got me feeling like Mike Carroll 1992 out here
[close]

Cross post. Spent the day breaking these in, I will be honest the mids are not as comfortable as the lows for me, but that's mostly due to my foot not the shoe. I have a similar issue with half cabs where they put pressure on the top of my foot.

However, these aren't nearly as bad as half cabs. I've got em laced pretty loose now but I'm really excited to skate them.

Might go back to the green laces but I still had these left over from a different set of CMs, wanted to see how they look.

Mans is chilling on SLAP, writing LRAB reviews in the Nelson Liquor Land parking lot. Respect.

Circus Liquor now :( they’re the homies though
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

Got the cm003 today and im really feeling them. The leather is really nice and they feel great on foot. Got a size 10, in the vm001 suede I get 9.5s as they seem to stretch out for me to a perfect fit. Excited to skate in these cm003s, got me wanting to set up a new board even though it’s still quite cold where I’m at.

Also got the gm001 in the same size and they also fit great. Took a walk around the city today to run some errands and felt comfortable. Didn’t get that rough break in feeling like I did with my docs. Anyway cool shoes.

VM004 on the right is probably from the next drop. One on the left is from the most recent drop.

What’s the overall consensus on sizing. Looking to get a Vulc and cup pair of LR. Eyeing the CM002 and VM003. Also looking at the Mocs. Any advice on fit?

I got myself a pair for cheap and although I hate them for skating, I must admit they're good chill shoes.

Pontus likes a lot of comments on product recommendations, including ones I posted on Polar posts for denim colors and board shapes over the past couple years, which never came to fruition. Unless it’s in a story, it’s probably not going to happen anytime soon or at all.

patiently waiting for a no frills basic slip on
snagged a pair of vm001s in the meanwhile

they said the Vm005 will be their only slip on option. I think you can just cut off the tassles

I just got some vm004s from drop 10 for my birthday and the soccer toe piece is spaced differently on each foot. Anyone else notice something like this and did it go away with the newer drops?

I looked at mine (drop 10 as well) and it looks like the spacings a lil off too. Might just be that drop

Yea looking at the pic up above from someone’s story, the spacing does look better. Weird tho about ours and the spacing. Definitely doesn’t affect the fit or feel, just cosmetic

I’ve been pestering Sami and Pontus on ig for a white canvas VM001 for at least 2 years, and now we’re going to get one that isn’t vegan  :'(

If anything, they should have swapped the canvas and suede, or just made it completely canvas, but I clearly don’t know shit about fashion. Those shoes will probably cost $120-150 and sell out of popular sizes quickly.

ALD approached Last Resort.

Skate relevance in mainstream brands will only continue shits too big now these companies can’t survive on skate doors alone.

Polar has an interesting one coming.

Damn really?   Never got the vibes of either of those things, but I don’t live in New York.   Guess I figured it was for middle-age urbanites with strong memories of John Starks and David Dinkins NYC.    Artisanal coffee…yeah I got that.

Basically it's the worst parts of what Noah clothing is doing. Overpriced shit you're better off buying vintage polo if your into that kind of style. The people wearing it think they have "elevated" style which is bullshit..  Artisanal coffee checks too haha

I've skated all the LRAB cups now and honestly they're just lacking compared to other brands. I think at this point I would prefer Wafflecup, which is visually offensive. I do like the VM series as off board shoes and don't care who they collab with as long as the company stays afloat. They're more core than the core brands at this point in terms of offering something basic and clean that people like.
