A week on Dane1 and it feels super scary to skate anything but flat with. I guess I''ll get some bigger and softer wheels for it and keep it as cruiser. I feel like longer wheelbases are more of my thing. I really liked that Creature Stumps 8.8 though.

Not sure why I thought that board had a square tail, but you are right. It looks pretty close.

The kicks on this are not too bad, I got the 825 in that series as well and I can’t pop that thing to save my life the kicks are so steep, where as the dressen I’ve just been skating it like a normal board the last week

Santa Cruz usually has really steep kicks compared to dwindle!
love dwindle! all i ride for street and park. bbs and shaped boards for slaps and wide boi setups all with a 14" or sub 14"wb thanks to @chems_skate Wheelbase tool. opened soo many more board options.

I agree with you. But the shape and the wood matters more as the graphic. And a good reason to get some spraypaint.

I agree with you. But the shape and the wood matters more as the graphic. And a good reason to get some spraypaint.

Over the years, many a board has been given the "grip offcut sand back" or a spray job as the graphic was not at all of interest but the wood or the shape was perfect.

I almost didn't post it with the weed background, but the shape was the main thing, as per the third frame of that post.

New Lovenskate 9in football I had shipped from the UK. Paid a lot for shipping but I'm excited to skate this shape... very slight and subtle taper up front with a squared off tail. Loved the graphic despite the natural wood stain, wish that bottom layer were all red. I hope some US shops can carry these because I dig the graphics and this shape!

9in at its widest, 8.75 at the front truck and 8.5 at the rear. Total length 31.5inches with a 14in wheelbase. Haven't set it up yet, but I skated a Quasi with similar dimensions and had a blast on it so I imagine this will be a lot of fun as well.

I love the fact that they are all 14in wb, and that they're pennswood! You're probably right that they wouldn't sell a ton in the states, they seem like a small operation over in the UK anyway.

they kinda do look like the same shape..1 of my favorite egg shape that i've skated this year..i kinda like the short wbase with thunder

This guy seems to generally be making boards with 14" WB and over 9". Pretty good shapes at a reasonable price.

The TG '85. Sticker says 8.5 x 31.75 with a 14.15 wb. Anyone might be hyped. Doesn't look like a standard popsicle shape, but it looks cool.

There are definitely more shorter wheelbase boards coming out of DLX, some popsicle and some shaped like the TG deck.

Seen some good pics and positive reviews from people who have had the Real floral decks, which seemed like the start of the shorter boards.
