WBSWB Movement (Wide Board Short Wheelbase)

The trend to go towards shorter wheelbase on any size board is helping this thread too, with more coming out in future drops so you guys should be good for this and a couple of other brands that might pick up this shape too.

The more interest in those Matt Price boards, the more likely they will keep it going too, but get them while you can as they do seem to be very popular.

I saw the latest Hopps boards, now back on BBS (previous range were on Clutch) appear to have some good boards that would fit into this range, eg

8.5 x 32 with 14.25 wb


Anyone check and confirm that though, but the boards look good.

I'm hesitant about it because it doesn't have any photos showing the concave and kicks, and I don't want to buy something just for it to be a cruiser type of board.

Someone said they asked them and because of supply issues they went "elsewhere" for wood, but now they have the regular BBS boards for both Hopps and Theories I think it was.

Cute they didn't say where they got wood from in the interim...

Tough to tell just how much it tapers over the trucks but I’m guessing it’s in the 8.75 range.
