That one definitely has "Barnyard" shape vibes, to me anyway.

A better more functional Vallely Barnyard board?

Nice!

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I had to go back and skate a barnyard. It was definitely from an early run cuz they went through some def changes. It wasn't nearly as twin as the Vision Pea nut bloard. Very hard to skate.

Recently Rocco claimed to Jenkum magazine it was a first. But it wasn't even a second. There was a symmetrical with these crazy like zombie busts in black and white ripping apart from each other. I think that was second. Or the Siamese board was. Later I think the V was closer to symmetrical. Less cigar shaped. I remember being surprised by it.

Is there a way to buy one of these blanks or do they only offer it as a wholesale option for companies that wanna slap their graphic on it? Cause that thing is pretty much perfect for me.

metal skateboards
grasshopper shape
8.75/32.5/13.625-14wb

[close]

Riding this now.  Real risers. 6.1 ventures. 56 conical fulls. Swiss ceramics.

Skates really small. I came off the wknd football 8.875

For whatever reason the pop on this Metal board is crazy good.  I’m going to ride this out and switch back to the wknd only because this skates really small / thin, and prefer the sturdier feeling of the wknd set.  I’ve also ridden Like 5 of them and got really used to the feels.

This is the one. This is the most inspiring shape I've had in some time. I ride the 13.9 wb not the tigher one. I just couldn't do it. Especially in transition. 13.9 is my minimum

Fuckin shape it's self is good for every trick so it's on tap all the time. Little bit scary on big hills. Cuz it feels like a Kalis 7.4 but it's actually an 8.75

I'm definitely getting another if the shop gets more. I'm experiencing madness thinking about it. I got like 2 months total out of the last one. Perhaps more. I had 3 boards going at once. All the same manufacturer just different shapes

Were they the ones that 35th Avenue shop got in?

I know they had some big big boards, but I can't remember which woodshop, but I thought there were a couple of options.

Was Control selling lower minimums as well?

I saw an 8.5 Jaccuzzi with a 13.75 wheelbase in a shop. It looked like a freestyle board.

Skatewarehouse has a new blank egg. Anyone know who's pressing these? They used to be clutch, but I don't recognize the new laser etch logo. https://www.skatewarehouse.com/Skate_Warehouse_Premium_Blank_Deck/descpage-SW77SWDK.html

Copied from the egg thread.

Also other boards in wider widths with the same short 14.21 wheelbases in 8.5 and more.

Could be HLC woodshop boards?

The laser etching on top, the 14.2 wb and the red middle ply all point to HLC. That's what the decks looked like here in Europe from Sour and Cafe for example. HLC now has a factory in the US too, right?

Yes, that is what I had heard or seen someone post or some news info or whatever it was.

Thanks for confirming too - guessing they are making boards and trying to get them out there to move units and get their name out there, even though they don't have it at all on the SW site, but that is a really good place to start, as well as having all sizes (widths) and all with the 14.2 wb, which is increasingly popular now too.

I will have to add this to the Woodshop thread too.

I just noticed from OCD skateshop that there is an 8.5 Polar board with shorter dimensions, confirmed from their own site too, as I first thought it might have been a typo.

I've recently been riding a few Hockey boards which I picked up really cheap, Caleb Barnett model. 8.5 deck, believe it's 14" wheelbase. Can't find another one to replace it. Any recommend something simular? Thanks

I know its relatively not that wide but does anyone know of good 8.38s with a shorter wb? Like 14.25 or under. I've noticed that most 8.3s are usually 14.5. I've seen more 8.5s at 14.25 for some reason. Not a deal breaker to go with 8.25 or 8.5 but I feel like 8.3 is an ideal width for me.
