It’s a bit weird but Powell and minilogo make one.    It is super flat though, but I’ve been loving this shape.   Weird or no graphics.

I’m on a ripper logo, but I think mini logo is same shape.   There are some on sale at skate one for 25$.   One thing I like about them is they seem very consistent.   You don’t have to worry about them changing woodshops, or having a different feel/ concave.

which one do you have? i’m assuming that’s flight or mini logo? i keep forgetting to order one of these. i really like flat boards.

@Sativa Lung do you like pennswood? i can’t remember the last board from them i’ve had. maybe a scumco, from like 4-5 years ago. great shape. kinda thick in the plys maybe

@intendedreceivers family affair, very nice.

Still looking for the „perfect“ deck.

14“ wb on 8.25 would be nice.
Rounder nose too. And length under 31.8
Not too flat.

Wb bit over 14 would be alright too.
GX unfortunately is a bit long, at least the new decks.

Maybe even FA/HOCKEY "Shape 2" in an 8.25 might be close to those dims?

The Shape 2 -  8.5" i'm on right now is 31.9" long and I think the WB is 14.25"

I imagine the 8.25 would be close to 31.9" and maybe 14" WB instead. I'd have to find their dims online to confirm, since I don't see Shape 2 from them too often

From the Hockey website:

8.25" x 31.79"
14.12" Wheel Base.

8.38" x 31.75"
14.18" Wheel Base.

8.5" x 31.91"
14.25" Wheel Base.

FWIW the first 2 are the same as the Limo 8.25 and 8.38, the limo 8.5 has a bit longer WB usually. They might have 2 of them. The hockey 8.38 shape 2 is the same as the AH Navy Eagle.

Anyone know of any decks 8.3-8.38 range with 14.0 wheelbase ? I’ve heard of the Dlx true fit but was wondering if there was some other brands too. Thanks slap

Scumco and lots of South Central boards used to be pretty short. I would peruse the woodshop thread for brands from there and go check out their pages. I saw a lot of 8.38-8.5 Scumco boards during Covid.

Currently on the April 8.12 with Venture lows.  I would agree with others here, the nose and tail could be a tad shorter, especially with the mellow kicks.  It also measures more like 8.2.  Manuals feel incerdible.  As many times as I tried to skate a 14" wheelbase on Venture highs, I never could - it always felt cramped.  14" wheelbase onlows feels perfect.

Yeah I like kiddie pool pennswood boards. Silver spoon has this super mellow nose that I hate but switch and nollie guys seem to really like. Deep dish is wayyyyyyy too steep for my tired ass old legs. The one I'm skating from time to time right now is an 8.25 from a local company called play and then I have a short square 8.5 that I set up as a cruiser too. Good boards, but the ones that are super dyed or dipped feel a little heavy sometimes.

I think it's ok, I like the dimensions and the fact that I got it cheap on the Huf sale, but I'm not crazy about the nose it's just a bit longer for my liking and has a flatter concave shape than the DLX or Palace boards I was riding before it.

My favorite shape so far has been Jamal Smith's Palace shape 8.25” x 31.50” WB 14” have ridden like 6 of his boards up until I tried Una Farrar's debut deck with the slightly longer dim's think it was 8.28" WB 14.1". Zero complaints with either of those.

Thought this could go here as well as what I posted in the DLX Shapes thread:

I am on the taller side, so the Tru Fit or even the slightly shorter boards just don't do it for me, but a wider Tru Fit has been asked for as well as the current options in Tru Fit and other Real shapes.

The 8.38 Tru Fit is 8.38 x 31.75 with 14.0 wb, which seems to add up to some pretty nice dimensions for people who want a fairly normal width with a shorter wb (but not too short like the 8.5 Tru Fit board).  A few people have already posted about this shape and say it is a good one.

https://www.tactics.com/krooked/team-style-838-true-fit-shape-skateboard-deck

SPECS
SIZE   8.38
CENTER WIDTH (IN):   8.38
LENGTH (IN):   31.75
WHEELBASE (IN):   14.0
NOSE (IN):   7.0
TAIL (IN):   6.56

The Real Ishod comic character board in 8.25 has a 14.0 wb with 31.9 length, which is the same shape from the shorter floral / tropical series.  Not to be confused with the "Dreamer shape" which is the longer 8.38, this one is the "Dream shape" as per the current catalog.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Adding this as well:

That 8.25. Ishod deck with the 14 wb seems nice. Anyone might know the tail and nose specs?
* Tactics website says, the tail is 6.75 and nose is 6.9

The true fit 8.38 also sounds nice, but I am not sure I could ride that deck with Indy 144s. It would be a bit of magic carpet, right? ~3mm wider as a 8.25 deck. Which surely doesn't sound much, but knowing it, it will fuck with me. Maybe. Maybe not.
[close]

The 8.25 Ishod piqued my interested as well. Skatedeluxe says the tail is 6.5 and nose 7.

https://www.skatedeluxe.com/en/real-ishod-comix-8-25-skateboard-deck-blue_p165950

8.38 with 144s is doable, but there's gonna be a bit of magic carpet. It's not gonna be anything critical, though. I mean, Reynolds used to ride 8.5s with 139s back in the day. But then again, he's Reynolds.

Re the 8.25 Dream shape, I seem to recall someone else somewhere saying the kicks were almost the same, but not quite, so the 6.75 tail and 6.9 nose might be closer to actual dimensions than the more generic sizes of 6.5 tail and 7 nose, which is very common all round.

https://www.tactics.com/real/ishod-comix-825-dream-shape-skateboard-deck

As I haven't seen one or found where I thought I saw the other info, I guess it is more just a wait and see, but the decent res skateseluxe.com pic of the top of the board looks a lot closer to the same in length of kicks.  Pics don't quite add up to the real thing, but I do like looking at hi res pics and comparing shapes, sizes, etc.

Bump cause Im looking for a 14" wheelbase, ideally 8.125 (willing to do 8.25) with full concave and a large nose. Any leads? I've allowed board madness to start  :(

april has an 8.125 with long nose and tail, 14 wb, and is made by bbs which i consider to be concave forward. i hate it.
crail has an 8.25 shape (that tapers down to 8.125 or less), with a 14” wb. kicks are steep ish, concave is present.
had an 8.25 evisen with a 14 wb that i liked, but the nose and tail were shorter.

something from bbs would be the ticket, for you.

actually i like @the bird answer better. i forget about alien, and the large noses. im put off by long tails/noses, so i have not tried one. sounds like what you need

If you can hold off a little longer, they are probably about due for a new drop sometime soon.  Metal and Habitat normally drop at the same time.

I've never had the 8.125, but I've had others from 8 to 8.75, and they are pretty consistent - full nose and tail (almost approaching the square shape), not steep, not mellow, but pretty medium kicks, decent amount of concave - again, I'd say medium.  I really like the shapes.  They are really good at answering emails too if you have any specific questions.

The Palace 8.375 does have an unusually long wheelbase on those boards though.

Jokes aside, the best way is to link the pic, not post using that method.

If it is a pic on a web site or shop site, you can just use the URL of it, which people can click on to bring it up.

There is also the "Add image to post" option directly under the text box.

As to that board, the wood is from DSM / Dwindle so it is the same as every other Dwindle board, so if you have ever seen or stood on a Blind, Darkstar, Enjoi, or anything else from those brands, it is going to be the same, fairly solid boards, stiff, poppy, usually more on the steep side for concave - check the Woodshop thread for more info if you are not sure.

I'm right there with you. I run a shop in Chesapeake, VA (@skatesupply) and I recently made a couple sizes of our shop decks in specific dimensions.

8.12 W x 31 L x 13.75 WB

8.25 W x 31.5 L x 14 WB

I've also been loving that DLXSF has several shorter options with small wheelbases via their TRUE FIT molds.

Currently riding a Uma Landsled 8.5 with 14.25 wb. Seem to be getting ghost pop more often. Was thinking of trying the GO96 shape. Would the shorter wb help with my ghost pop issue?
