Both Paul’s and Cole’s sw 360 flips were choice

Or what about the time Mike V completely ripped up the rules, and threw out the rules, because he plays by his own rulez

That game was really incredible. He changed the set up of the game to accommodate his style and still lost.

Will 540 flips or double flips ever be ok in a street part? Looks like these guys had them on lock regardless.

Also funny how hardflip bs180 makes an appearance in pretty much every game this year, hottest trick right now?

These already have been.

See this at 2:19 plus the ender.

Also Heath in Mindfield, Danny Brady at London Bridge, Antwuan in Baker Has A Deathwish (does a sick fakie double), and Justin Henry had a good one in Mother

Definitely a shit trick but can be done well by the right person, as with pretty much everything

Marc Johnson's double flip in Modus is a thing of beauty (at 2:58)

I agree doubles are usually lame but...
Damn I miss Dylan Rieder.

I also miss thrashers firing lines, wonder why those aren’t common anymore.

I feel like if you're on offense, and you get a redo, if that redo isn't a clean make it should go to the other skater, not another redo. just a thought
This is how I’ve always played.
I guess the extra offensive redo’s are just God having mercy ¯\_(ಠ‿ಠ)_/¯

So strange that he had trouble with the fake variation when his regular V heels are so goddamm good. That trick gets so many people a letter and it's outright easier than regular.
His switch fs flips are still fantastic too. The whole game was fun to watch.

3rd time's the charm, that's how i (and pretty much all the skaters i know) play. if your toe/heel/whatever drags or the trick's sketchy on the third try then the other skater sets their trick, if you land it clean then it's all good.

VHS's 'Ippon' series fill in the 'Firing Line' gap quite nicely

Should hopefully have some decent games coming up, assuming P-rod doesnt win the coin toss and skunk Griffin with some wild shit. Feel like both these matches could be a toss up, but I think the nerves will play a big part in the finals.

Are they doing the last two games this weekend, or doing all 3 next week?

Wonder if it’s a regional thing? I live on the west coast and have never played a game of skate where anyone gets 3 tries.

Probably, like past BATB finals the matches will be played consecutively.

Sovrn. Irl what brand that is.

I just hope if he does get on something he really takes advantage of it.

If I was a kid I’d want to be on frog or 917.
Id do everything in my power to make that happen. Even on a flow level.
I’d move I’d frickin go homeless in a tent or car right near where I’d have to be. Id  The only thing I’d never do is change my clothes.
I would try hard af and film every day.

Id sell my soul at the manny pad barrier thing.

Not anything to do with griffin. I just feel like if I was a young man I’d want to be down with that.

If Jamie griffin was up against shane I think he’d be in trouble. That would be a dope unsanctioned battle. Griffin would not be able to get Shane with bigger spins.

Realistically, if Griffin wants a shot at being pro should he even go back home? Feels like being in ths US would be his best shot at being big.

Dude should try to hang around California get some contest shit out the way.

Bust or bail shit. That’s what I think might open up some shit. Idk. I would hope if he went and put his ass on the line for the right things with style or wreck less abandon

If I was him make some friends down as try to move to TJ with a pal or something. Make some really crazy tape like you was pretending to be god on wheels.

i feel like this trip is his only real shot at going to the next level sponsorwise. too bad he is wasting his time in shitty parks and with other youtubers rather than hitting up photogs and filmers and doing some real street shit.

the berrics in general have contributed to the rise of a lot of new pros in the past 10 years, those coming to mind right now, Shane, Cory Kennedy, Sewa, Luan (i love Luan but what has he done except skating high speed flatground on camera ?), Cody Cepeda, Miles Silva.
Some had better careers than the others, some would have made it with or without the berrics, but getting featured there definitely gave them exposure and accelerated their careers, it was probably more true in the 2010-2015 era, when they were actually cool and the owners were more involved in the industry

I dont think jamie is the type of person who wants to 'make it big'. If he does it will be because of other people pressuring him.
