The story told here - which could obviously be complete bullshit because it’s Slap - is that Indy’s new management was trying to get riders to sign their naming rights away for one time checks. I don’t know what the specifics were, but apparently this offended a number of riders. There are some other stories related to the apparel business and such, but generally I think the consensus was that everyone was pissed at management.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. I'm heavily biased since Olson's my favorite skater and even still i would not be surprised if he got the boot. From the outside it definitely looks like he's the new Gino in terms of productivity. He basically has not put out any new footage since that Nike edit. He might still skate privately but he just seems over skating professionally.
