If I put indy hangers on ace baseplates, what height does it end up with? Has anyone measured this?

You don't break in trucks/bushings by using old bushings...

I put the new trucks on a somewhat old-ish deck and try to skate some rougher curbs or ledges and form some mild grooves. Things that normally chew up a deck. Also hit some stuff that just makes me turn a lot. Occasionally during a work call I just stand on my board on a carpet and turn a shitload. 2-3 of those sessions and there are enough grooves to not make it annoying and the bushings are close to broken in.

If it's a Christmas complete or mostly new I don't have any expectations and skate as normal it's just awkward sometimes until things are broken in.

With new trucks,  you can break them in with old bushings, but the *new* bushings just go unused, unless you put them on a different set of trucks/setup you ride. If you're trying to break the bushings in as well as the trucks, then yeah you're only breaking in 50% of the new let's core components
