zack howdy actually seems pretty ok. his DIY tutorials are informative. he's got youtuber cringe but his cardinal sin is being named dowdy. it's reminiscent of howdy doody. it does remind me of caddyshack and the infamous 'doody in the pool' scene. actually if he rebranded his channel to 'dowdy in the pool' i'd rethink my whole opinion.

Being basically the only transition-based Youtuber (apart from Chad Caruso), I used to really like Zack Dowdy. His trick tips were good, he seemed cool and I liked his general outlook (Al Brunelle also fucking rips). This would probably be 2020-ish. As soon as he moved to daily/much more frequent uploads though, I think he dropped off significantly. His videos became much more low effort and way more 'Youtubey'. A shame, really.

Also I find it infuriating when he says "You guys'es opinion", lol.

My favourite skate Youtuber bar none is Jon Bishop. He is a 47 year-old English geezer who started skating at 44. He is a bit corny (not in the usual click-bait Youtube way, though), but I am here for it. His progression, dedication and obvious love of skateboarding is, for me, highly inspirational. The guy is a legend. He skates transition (like me) and is currently learning to skate vert.

Brunelle > Dowdy. He comes off more genuine.

apparently that was the video that put him on Berras radar

I think youtube one day recommended his channel when he was still 1800Nipples. I started following his Twitch channel instead because he popped up a lot in June or May of last yr, was dope when he streamed the olympics

he's so salty about gifted hater not wanting to collab. granted gh took the fart joke way too hard, but i don't even think it's that big a deal to complain about a joke you were pissed about on a twitch stream. seems like DD is spinning this narrative where joa is so sensitive, when he's probably just pissed that some dweeb keeps trying to get clout off his name.

so funny to me that DD is calling GH sensitive here though, when he literally made a whole video rebutting every point GH made in an off the cuff stream. If you really want data analysis of the berrics you should probably seek psychological assessment though.
