In a perfect world

Wenning would've stayed sober and would be fully back on dc and habitat and be filming with the sabatoge crew. Lets hear your imaginary skate scenario of how things could've been...

Tom Penny and Bastien would have handled their personal issues and put out more parts instead of falling off.

Cardiel wouldn't have gotten seriously injured.

In a perfect world Trapasso would've never fallen off and would still put out the best parts in his pyjamas

Pops and CK would put out as much footage as Suciu and Ishod.

Rick Howard would still skate, at the very least do a Bunt or Nine Club

Mike Mo would’ve never had his accident

Berra disappeared from the public eye

Alex Chalmers would still be putting out parts and

Last but not least:

Dylan would still be alive

So do I, and while you may not ever be able to be cured of whatever mental illness, there are certainly ways you can manage/handle it that are more beneficial than others. That's pretty universally understood.

There's a deep, deep void in skateboarding that Dylan once filled. Such a trip to think where he would have taken his style, grace and influence. No one has done it the same since. RIP to the real goat

Yeah this one leaves the most questions for me. Obviously at some point his style would have left the mainstream but his impact was and continues to be huge. RIP

In a perfect world I would be able to purchase a newly manufactured pair of black leather Ipath Grasshoppers on June 24th, 2022 and place them upon my feet.

In a perfect world, the Emerica GCode (OG) would still be a regular in every seasonal drop.

Oh, and I'll echo that Dylan would still be with us.

People would of given Lewis Marnell the respect he deserved. Especially the people at Nike that never even gave him a colourway even tho he single handed kept the dunk going for years. Oh and obviously he wouldn't have died.  (Along with Shane, van, Dylan, Ben, grosso and many others)

People wouldn't expect skateboarders to keep producing skate parts into their 30s. In the perfect world they get paid enough in their twenties to be comfortable enough to move on with their lives. Sure they can still skate if they want but no pressure to kill themselves.

Board graphics would have a bit more lasting power

Done deal. Man i would love a pair of black suede and brown suede cats. The brown/tan suede grasshoppers were my favorites, followed by the black leather.

In the perfect world ipath would come back with multiple tasteful colorways of the cats, grasshoppers, Panthers and 1985s all on that original sole with the logos for grip. But who would be on the current ipath team? (Watson and field are a given for legacy)

Imagine Tiago switch front crooks a high marble ledge in some Grasshoppers and baggy light denim pants.  Bystanders go wild

Edit: also Uncle Freddy on the team for sure

The berrics never came to be, Eric Koston continued his skate part legacy, and all the most talented skaters from 2008-2015 actually put out multiple street parts instead of dorking around in front of a camera at an indoor skatepark.

Menace would’ve never been hit with the cease and desist for their name.

Or

Kareem would’ve bounced to Chocolate after leaving World.

Henry would’ve went to Girl.

Deluxe’s lineup would be Real, Anti Hero, Stereo, American Dream, Krooked, Spitfire, Metropolitan, Forties Clothing, Thunder, and Venture.

The Aesthetics team would’ve never bounced to Zoo.

Modern day skateboarding couldn’t handle Rocco, so I’ll leave that one be.

In a perfect scenario i think he would be a legacy pro on primitive like JB Gillet. Some Lynx OG colorways on his belt, still filming and posting clips.

Huf would still be with us.

EDIT:

Drake Jones would also never have stopped skating/putting out parts while still pursuing his golf dreams.
