Are there better female skateboarders that exist? Sure. I admittedly haven't seen much of Beatrice's footage before but I thought some of the stuff in this was pretty sick. Especially the manual no-comply at about 1:20. Some of you guys remind me of the young children in any given YouTube comment section arguing about why Nyjah is better than x-pro.

No it's peak efficiency. Didn't have to see any shit down stairs to see some landings that looked like they were down a bit set.

Well this is it, clearly not pro material from a skills standpoint, that is objectively clear. Is that all being pro is about? No. But is a very large and significant part of it is. Probably the most relevant part. I would just feel silly having a pro board at that skill level next to all these rippers. But honestly, I really hope she proves me wrong. She is a true skater and seems pretty cool.

I stated before that I just wish she would use her current skills go harder and explore different ways to skate. But you know what? Fuck it, if they want to pay you to do what you want, go ahead and skate how you want.

As far as BD, I'm happy for her and see why they would want to turn her pro. Still don't really like her team-handsome inspired skate style, though. Although, it's not as bad as it use to look. I mean, the word "pro" definitely seems redefined these days. I think most of us would equate it with the merit of a certain skill level, so I don't blame anyone who wants to discredit her or is against the idea of a low-level skilled skater being given the bump. It's kind of like that band who has the name, image, and attitude... but not the songs. thats okay i guess.

Seriously though, I’m sure being under the wing of FA and Vans will get her on the right track.  I can’t imagine many other women out there getting the nod from Dill and Ave right now.  Seems like a good team fit.  I’m cautiously optimistic but honestly she’s not my favorite.  Hopefully this is the support she needs to start ripping proper.
