All I mean is we’ve spent a decade and a half platforming low impact skating and that’s created a window for all kinds of people that may not have been considered pro worthy in the past. It doesn’t seem like she should have to play by rules no one else is playing by anymore, she doesn’t need to drop any hammers .  She can probably do all the tricks in that magenta video . It’s not a bad thing , it’s just the present .

Fucking laughable, dude. Just because a pro skater limits their footage (especially in Kevin Rodriques' case), that doesn't mean that they don't skate well. Kadow and Rodriques are gifted and stylish skaters and are deservedly pro; they just keep a comparably low profile. However, it's entirely pointless to compare them to Beatrice Domond and vice versa.

Yeah she’s no where near at the level of the guys on Magenta, and I say that as someone that enjoys Beatrice’s skating and find Magenta skaters to be underwhelming nowadays.

Someone like Soy who’s well beyond his prime and focusing on his art, is still skating at a much higher level than Beatrice. I’d say Alexis Sablone could outskate the magenta guys.

Even though i understand where that statement comes from, i would say that being interesting on a skateboard requires a lot of skills.

People who have kept a very minimalist tricks selection and mastered it (Nate Jones, Reese Forbes, or some of the Magenta folks, or maybe Fustoop) are definitely skilled skateboarders in my mind.

Now, there's a difference when someones does simple tricks badly.

This is not particularly a shot at Beatrice though, even though im not thrilled by her skating, but a more general reflexion on those situations when that statement comes out. Sometimes people actually suck : they do simple tricks badly. And it makes them uninteresting to watch.

Also, Magenta is such a diverse team that it's impossible to generalize about them. The only common thing would be that they all have carved a special niche for themselves, each in their own specific way.

I definitely agree with this. They look the best and they are a decent trick in terms of difficulty. Pros don't fakie 50 or 5-0 anything that's not a handrail or hubba usually.
