Ironically, hating on her as much as some of you have has provided the foil necessary to really bring her attention and boost her career. It is almost as if Vans is doubling down on their support for her to spite those who can't stand her. They're saying, "fuck you," it seems.

Also, from what I understand she doesn't have a full part in this Keepsake vid, just clips... that's gonna go over so well here I'm sure hahaha

Both Vans and Beatrice are happy with her career so might as well let it go. Hopefully, Vans and other big companies invest in more black girls skaters and not just end it here. I spot lighted two flow girls who put out parts a few pages back so these companies with their full time talent scouts should be able to find a good amount. Sure Beatrice may be breaking ground but giving her 4 colorways is like if Crazy Rich Asians broke ground for mainstream asian american films and instead of investing in other stories, they just continued to make Crazy Rich Asian sequels. We need to move on to an Everything Everywhere All At Once. Time to actually push forward instead of people congratulating themselves for supporting Beatrice and not actually watching or platforming other skaters in the movement.

Same. I think pushing one story whether it be in movies or skating is lazy on the part of the companies. They have the resources to do more for sure. Laying the responsibility of representation on one person is unfair to Beatrice and to the girls that need possibility models.

Am I the only one who learned 5050 shuvs because of this thread? It was really, more like, make sure I can do it. It's a trick I don't actually remember ever trying or learning, although I can do 5-0 front shuvs.

Anyway, I had a sesh last week., spent like 10 minutes doing 5050 fs shuv and it was fun.

Well in context Supreme made 520 million this year compared to 560 million last year. That’s like roughly a 7% decrease.
