What makes you so sure of that?

Does Pontus know about the G&S vid?  Certainly.  Is this a way of evoking his nostalgia from when he was younger in skating?  Maybe.  Is it a direct reference?  Perhaps.  But most people definitely dont know about Footage, and I think you can evoke similar nostalgia by choosing more original music, so I’m torn about it.  So many song ABD’s lately, I’m not a fan of the trend even if I like this new Pontus video.

I was so stoked on that! I wasn't sure what to expect from this video after the mixed feedback on here, but this was so sick. Roman came through with one of my favorite parts. Him and Grund have some of the best pant games too.

In 2016 I was going through an injury and a personal rough patch. Every day I would watch I like it here inside my mind and that video holds such a special place to me as it is so creative and it made me realize how much skating was the best thing on earth.

Knowing that this is available to watch makes me happy. And it will make me happy for years to come

I also was going through a rough patch around that same time, and there was something so truly magical about that video. While that magic can never be recaptured, I think the spirit of that time continues to live on. Few companies, if any, can say that.
It will be very interesting to see where Polar go from here, with Pontus being more hands off, and this being his last video. I think the Polar of late is a very different beast, and I've personally had mixed feelings about where the brand is going, but I think this the dawning of a new era.

Jfc dude he literally references “g&s footage” in the music credits, so yes it’s a direct (credited) reference. 

“So many abds lately”. It’s a song from a 30 year old vid.  I think the statute of limitations are up on “abds”

Gotta say 20-25% fat on this but the rest is extremely enjoyable and a lot of amazing clips. Great music and editing of course (yes antwon is a predator but damn him and ugly mane are great).  But going back to the fat, idk about ollieing onto a ball as a fairwell
