I kinda expected more out of his career at the beginning of the 2010s. He was very promising, feels like the "ground breaking part" this guy could/ could have produced is missing... (extremely sorry doesnt really count)? Maybe partially due the industry still being pretty US focused in several aspects.
Interesting how Louie Lopez and Luan's careers went off different trajectories, since both were the star groms on Flip during the Extremely Sorry days. Luan had a lot of success with competitions and made good bank with SLS, Copenhagen, X-Games and BATB showings but never evolved his style and trick selection. Being on Nike definitely helped his wallet.
LL landed on the biggest brand in recent times, has a pro shoe with Converse and is in the running for SOTY with his recent part.
I think LL's legacy will shine brighter in the next 10 years but both should be sitting comfortably financially.
