Great skater, in my personal opinion wouldn't have given it to him either time. But, it's entirely subjective on what we value. The man can pop over anything. Personally, I think the way Louie floats over shit is better, but backside flipping over a fucking subway can't be dismissed.

Whenever it's Thrasher, I just think it's about who does the more memorable "insane terrain" skating. Seems like Tyshawn's stuff slightly edged out Nyjah's as more iconic. Especially considering there is a lot of gnarly rail-chompers out there, but probably less of the type of skaters doing what Tyshawn does. Although I'd rather see variability in winners instead of a repeat, he still earned it. Chris Cole repeated when he slaughtered Wallenburg if I'm remembering right. So, it's of a similar thing. At least it seems like people want Nyjah to win now, whereas in the past it seemed like everyone was playing "keep away" with him.
