The funny thing is he talked shit about the drills and the basic stuff but thats all the people who watch skateiq asked him for. Skateboarders understand its just practice but people getting into skateboarding like to have a direction and ask for little shit like that. He was also mad that mitchie asked him to change his name from "douche bag" to something else when the skool community is full of families and kids. Mitchie probably thought he was just some punk kid. Kid gets told to change his name then tries to get a refund for 9 bucks because guy doesn't help him with frontside flips right away. Seems pretty main character to me

I start throwing them, I think Dan was flailing kick flip, when he came back to the spot I was starting from and said “you mind if I try hardflip with you?”. He was aware from the time I picked him up that I was going to be trying hardflip. During the 2 hour drive he did say “I’ll skate the gap with you” if I’m not mistaken he said he wanted to try a varial flip. As soon as he asked to try hardflip it killed the vibe, 5-6 tries later the police came into the park anyway. In the grand scheme it was technically fair play as it was NBD but in bad etiquette to try while someone else is trying at the same sesh. I went back again for it after this sesh, without Dan obviously. Bailed one, slid out on ice in the bottom and hit my dome pretty hard. Needless to say Jimmy Carlin eventually got it.
