I skated so many of mid to late 90's Chocolate decks, most were 7.5 and some were 7.785 like Paulo Diaz deck in a video, like them more than Girl because kicks were steeper and decks usually bit longer overall. Downside of super flat and narrow decks was that decks would be super soggy in matter of week or two depending on how much you skate. Nowadays decks are much more durable.

Waste of time and money… I am going on the same spots for like 5 years and never needed to do this shit. Just add more wax lol. I have even re sprayed some spots and it worked fine. It’s good to get the dirt off the top of the ledge cause that does slow you down but he didn’t even touch that part of the ledge lol.

That tall curb spot under the bridge is fucking hard to skate the ground is super rough and the uphill is steeper than it looks on camera, seeing them both do a bunch of tricks on it was impressive

When you think about the recipe for this of spanly skates with a youtuber to promote his new shoe while the 9 club guy commentates, it could have been god awful.

Compare that to the finished product though and it was all about the skating, no forced promotion or bro-ing down, just some fun sessions where spanly hauled ass ripping. Well done.

I agree, despite how it happened, it didn't seem really forced.  Spanky's skating takes up a lot of space which was awesome kinda all you needed.  Honestly, one of the best eps ever.  Ben mentions it, but I don't think people not from California understand how much they wax stuff and how slick it is there.....
