This thread may be a bit cliche, considering we are on the Slap boards, but I don't care. Ricky Oyola is in my top three skaters. I don't have time to write out a long description, but when I think of Ricky, I think of a few things:
1) Style - He's got a great, unique style. He has lots of power, but some finesse thrown in there.
2) Choice of spots - This is definitely the first thing that caught my eye about him. Most of the spots he skates are spots that you would find while skating down a city street; not many big name spots. Half the stuff he skates would be considered unskateable by almost everyone else.
3) Lack of coverage - It's a blessing in disguise. Ricky's lack of coverage makes you appreciate the coverage he does have so much more.
4) Music - Ricky always skates to good and fitting music.
There is so much more that could be said, but those are the first things to come to mind for me. In short, Ricky is one of the greatest! If anyone could post some pictures, I'd be grateful. I'll post some later, but in the meantime, here's some video parts:
