I haven’t set foot on a skateboard in over two decades.
In fact, I don’t even own a skateboard.
Truth is, I’m in the very lucrative business of “Rep Farming.” 
Real ones know they can find me in the darkest reaches of the Events/Classified forum on these here bloards, selling blocks of positive rep for bitcoins.
It’s like the landlord scam, but with even less work: no building maintenance, just toss out a casual shalom here & there and watch that rep stack, baby!

I think people forget there are other threads and boards and things to talk about on here. Maybe an opinion on the latest Thrasher tour video is worth a kooking, but an outfit of the day is worth a gnar. I’ve seen it.

Newbies seem most offended by rep, in my experience. “Why is my loud, whiny, dissenting opinion not being rewarded!??!?!!?”

Hahah no there are 3-4 people that literally just kook me daily even though most of my recent posts are completely neutral. I guess that's fine if that's what brings them joy. Personally I don't really care if my rep is -100 or +1000, but upon noticing this it did make me realize there were a lot of high rep posters whose posts are best left on the ignore list.

But what I am mostly referring to are a few posters that just ramble or tell the same old jokes and have some insanely high score without really adding anything interesting or valuable.

ledge skating sucks (i cant back 50 but can do back crooks, nosegrinds and crooks) like i think a ledge in a line is cool but almost never ender worth. just not fun to watch or do.

learn how to back 50 then do a long one on a chunky ledge and you'll understand. i also learned how to crook first and did my first back 50 like 2 years after so it's possible, esp if you can already back nosegrind

A flat area covered in asphalt, shit loads of plywood and pallets, random metal pipes and someone with an access to power tools. Wait for a couple of years or a decade and there might be the next Penny/Creager or the whole place resemble Lord Of the Flies.

When I was a kid, there was a wood indoor park, but no outdoor park that I knew of. 
  There was this spot that at a playground by us where they had bulldozed out two big parking spaces into a hillside.
  Then they paved up onto the hillside effectively making a three sided ditch.  For some reason, it was also painted green.
  That was the perfect skatepark.
Throw a parking block on top of one of the sides and literally anyone could have an awesome time there.
  Well almost anyone.
  Some big spoiled baby from some rich part of the country with bloated municipal budgets might complain that there was no big transition or pool coping.
…but anyone cool could have an awesome time there.

Some of us grew up watching Welcome To Hell and seeing someone break their neck. And Ed or someone sack a rail and then show their bruised and swollen nutsack. It’s part of skating and adds to the video part imo. Also If you’re referencing this due to Pedro’s part, what did you expect? You can always watch a Braille edit if you want to play it safe.

It doesn’t hurt anything to have one tho. I don’t think they’re necessary but if people start adding them I don’t think I’ll get upset either.
