For real Tate held it down here. RIP to him. As an avid cyclist and fellow skater/SLAP lurker this hurts to lose another one of us.

Never knew the guy but his threads will live on and respect to him. I wish his family peace and everyone out there gets some skating and cycling in for those that are doing so in the other world.

This is hard to fathom. Bubblegum Tate and I rarely ever crossed paths here but he seemed so low key and kind and unflappable. Terrible news. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

Damn, saw him posted on many stories today on IG, but didn't make the connection until I saw this topic.

Didn't know him personally, but seeing those stories and this topic, he was obviously loved and respected and always cool here on SLAP.

Yeah was always amazed by his ability to take teasing in stride and never have to fire back.

Yeah the running joke was that Tate was a bot created to post Street Corner ads. Unflappable, as GAY said, is a great word for him. So sad to only see this fuller picture of him now that he’s gone. I’ve been here 17 years and he has been a fixture throughout. RIP to a true Slap Pal, skate nerd, and by all accounts awesome human.
