I wouldn't say he skates, I saw footage of him just riding around a skatepark and it looked like he could barely stand on the board

When his Block Party tour was in Seattle he got in touch with the guy who runs the local indoor park and asked if he could skate there. Him and Mos Def plus a few others came by after the show and skated for awhile. Regardless of how good he is he definitely skates.

I saw footage of him skating a small vert ramp, I was like 13 and I was in awe. haha, he was good, though, he was doing really good airs on the thing. This footage was on VH1 and I'm not kidding.

kyle field of little wings skates, and also has at least a few songs containing/about 'the shredder', which refers to a disenchanted pool ripper that just wants to be accepted. sounds lame but by far the best of any skate related media ive seen or heard.

No one's mentioned that guy from My Name is Earl, he was in a bunch of Kevin Smith films, like Chasing Amy, Dogma, etc. . .

Can remember his name, he made a skate vid with Gonz and Spike Jones in like 88-89 or something

He didn't cancel the tour, they had a fill in play guitar and he sang. The story with him is that he was trying to fs grind a pool, hung up and broke his wrist, he was getting to be a really good skater from all accounts.
