The KSL G6s are my favorite cupsoles I've skated so far. They took a while to break in but I really like them now. It sounds like these got discontinued? What other Emericas are similar to these?

They haven’t yet. They’re still going to be in a few more seasons and new colors. They’re just paring back the G6 cupsole foam all around.

I believe he has a slip on colour way coming out soonish?

He does have a colorway of the Wino G6 Slip dropping next month.

I do have one question. Has the original Gamma been considered as a retro shoe? I know the current Gamma is somewhat similar to the original, but there are still some slight differences (mainly outsole). I know Etnies still uses a very similar outsole on their Kingpin to the original.

Hasn't really been talked about seeing as to how we've got this Gamma out at the moment and would rather do a full reissue on something entirely different. We've put more energy into some more iconic reissues such as the OG-1, Heritic as well as pro model reissue for 2025 as well as another team shoe being reissued that we're currently in the middle of developing.

As far as a thicker shoe or just with the Pour-In G6 midsole? Currently, we've also got the Figgy G6, Phocus G6, Wino Slip Cup and then another Julian colorway of the Gamma G6 dropping next month.

Really? I’ve had a few pairs myself and feel like they’re the slightest bit heavier than the slip-on as it’s a similar profile with the same insole, just has the rubber ollie guard.

They're legit. I order climbing shoes from them often. Euro sites are way cheaper for there even with shipping. You'll just have to wait 2 weeks sometimes.

The pour in G6 midsole is the same compound formula as the insole. However, the G6 cupsoles are more expensive than vulc with G6 because the sole mold and midsole space created to have the G6 polyurethane formula poured into I'd a more expensive process. The midsole paired with the harder cupsole warrants the higher cost.

Emerica chose to package the compound into a removable insole and sell those/place them in their vulc shoes. Now, I have no way of measuring if the insole has the same density and exact thickness as the midsole in the cupsole, but I'd assume so. From what I've seen with Reynolds/KSL G6 and a Wino G6 models that I owned, the compound feels identical

Ive skated 4 pairs of these, currently on my 5th and I have one last in the box. I have different colorways too, but these ones are my favourite. Still havent decided if I want to skate the last pair, or just wear them around. I buy all G6 cupsole slips I can find, if they have my size. Favourite shoe ever. When they go away, which Emerica TM said that they will, I guess its back to the Laced for me, but these ones are seriously the best.

Snagged the Gammas for ~$25 before shipping. Fits true to size and the sock liner is nice and snug. Not loving the green logo patch on the tongue tho so if it doesn't grow on me, I'll cut that off

Skated these gammas probably 4 times before the sole separated. Pretty bummed even though i got it on sale but that soured me on soletech as of now

Did you reach out to Emerica? That looks like a manufacturing defect vs wear and tear so they might be able to help out.

I've had a bunch of junk in my trunk, lol I mean literally, to go donate, and realized yesterday I mistakenly had a barely used pair of KSL G6's in there, so I relaced them and am back to skating them again after trying out Hours Is Yours.

I'll be a broken record and say these shoes are so amazing. It's gotta be like the 4th pair in total that I've bought and I really don't understand why you'd discontinue such a good looking and feeling shoe. There's nothing out there these days with the simple round shape that's a good in-between for puffiness, as a cupsole, and not a sport company shoe. I remember when these first came out I didn't think they looked as good as the last Reynolds G6 cupsole that came out, but now I think they look even better.

I thought it was the Spanky G6 that was getting discontinued, not the KSL?  Regardless, I'm with these guys.  KSL G6 is probably the best shoe I've ever skated. Shape, comfort, looks, durability....It'd be super dumb to get rid of these.
