This green residue, is the an NB issue or Emerica?

I just brought a heap of the shake junt figgys and the soles are all green…

It's in reference to the Emerica soles that are green.

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It may or may not show up for you on your board when you flick/shimmy your feet into place for tricks. It seems to be hit and miss, since not everyone has had the same experience

yeah it’s all aesthetics. i had a pair of dc lynxes with red soles and they left red stains all over my grip tape but they still skated great

damn that photo of the skated KSL's is sick, makes me want to get some too while I can still find them... they look narrower and better in that photo than I've seen in other pics.

Anyone else have comfort issues with spanky g6? For whatever reason top of foot at base of ankle and heel always throb. Seems like the tongue is creating some weird pressure point. I think lack of padded collar makes my heel sore, like authentics.

Which colourway are you wearing?

I’ve been wearing this shoe solidly for a couple of years now and never had a problem.

My rotation currently consists of the wine suede, baby blue suede and the charcoal/dark green leather.
Don’t have any issues with those, and didn’t have any issues with the black/white ones when I had a few of those.

I do put G6 insoles in them for added cushioning, though.

was going to buy the OG-1 but it looks super thin. is it a thin shoe? i ended up buying a second pair of creagers instead but still wanna get the OG-1's but would like to know if they are nice n puffy.

They're pretty big n thicc. Not Es Accel OG thicc but they've got padding to em. I don't really have another point of reference to them- if you got a shop near yours stocking them hit em up and look at em in the flesh. My only real comparison is some shit like the Manteca maybe.

It's a thick/thin shoe..... don't expect any shock absorption, exactly like a thin shoe.

If you're size 12 I'll sell you my skateshop day ones (white/red) for $20.  I can't even wear them just walking around because I have low big ankles that push on the sides...  high tops even bug me :/

@emericatm, for the new Gamma g6, does this fit differently than the original Gamma?  I found the original Gamma to be too narrow, but every shoe on the g6 sole fits great.  Thanks

A lot of great comments and feedback in here. Here's a few updates from things that were said:

Most importantly, Spanky Hi will be getting an upgrade from what was posted in here. It's now back on the original outsole but with an EVA insole rather than a G6 midsole but happy to say that this improvement won't raise the price.

Correct, the team riders have a huge say when designing their signature shoes. Braden did play an extremely major part of his shoe and was heavily involved. He's been skating it for a few months now and loves it.

In 2025, there will be a Heritic G6 version released.

As one pal pointed out, similar to the Etnies Barge, the Cadence is a basic silhouette designed to be very price conscious. Solid vulcanized shoe at a great price. No more, no less.

Also, if anyone wants to move any of these discussions to the Emerica thread to not takeover this thread please feel free.

Well it is an entirely different outsole so yes I'd assume the fit would be different, even if just slightly.

No other vegan color ways of the Figgy G6 but will continue to keep providing some solid vegan options in the lines!

No worries at all. So it will be on the original "Pour-In G6" outsole (KSL, Figgy G6, Spanky G6, Slip Cup, etc.) just with an EVA midsole instead of the pour-in G6 midsole.

Well at least now the Spanky Hi will have the "G6 outsole" without the pour-in instead of the Formula G outsole. Should be a solid upgrade even with no G6.

Anyone notice how the suede/leather KSL G6 feel better than the suede/nubuck colorways?

The white ones felt more comfortable than the black/green I have: wearing and skating
