Also curious about Fastbreaks, they seem fairly wide all the way throughout?  If so they could be a good choice.  How are they lengthwise?  I’m an 11.5 in most shoes, 10.5 in Chucks but find the pointy toe box on them a bit tight.

Half size down for me. I'm a big 12, only go down to 11.5 in Chucks and Fastbreaks in 12 are quite big.

There is an all suede black/gum bottom version of the fast breaks for fall 24.
A ways off but still one is coming. Look like the fog dunks.

Since he joined Cons, it looks like he's a lot more willing to skate their vulcs. He was skating his Jack Purcell colorways for a while.

I wish that Gravis shoe had come out...

When they were around Ripped Laces had an article on one of the first shoes he was skating on Cons. Once he started getting shoes.

I think they even had photos and shared that he bought all the stock of his shoe or something.

GH covered this in a video as he was excited about Supreme’s possible end as well. But: third party/independent resellers can sell whatever they want on Pac Sun’s website. VF doesn’t own Pac Sun; it is most likely seen as a competitor. After Stussy had a resurgence after being taken out of malls recently I don’t see Supreme going that route.

GH covered this in a video as he was excited about Supreme’s possible end as well. But: third party/independent resellers can sell whatever they want on Pac Sun’s website. VF doesn’t own Pac Sun; it is most likely seen as a competitor. After Stussy had a resurgence after being taken out of malls recently I don’t see Supreme going that route.

Accurate the stussy line in La on Black Friday was probably equal to the supreme line . That said the stussy line was 100% Asian. And the supreme line was just white tourist fuckbois . I think at this point stuff like supreme and FA is just popular with midwesterners visiting big cities based my recent travels and talking to people, stussy is firmly back in the street wear culture zeitgeist.

All I know about Stussy is they had one of the best teams in skateboarding ever and it was just four dudes for yearsss.

Also after Shawn Stussy sold the company his friends at Freshjive did a line of tees in different “competitors”/streetwear fonts - one being the Stussy font. Shawn rocked the shirt in some photos too. Then the Stussy parent company c&d’d Freshjive.

Good on them for their refound (?) success, I guess.

Oh I have no idea, I assumed it went over because it wasn’t a terribly popular brand, but maybe something was up bc Blitz brought all the big names over to Flip.   

I never got the idea from Lance that he’s in some weird version of Christianity.   He’s never really preaching it or making it a “Thing”.  The church I went to in Orange County was super mellow and pretty apolitical and the Catholic high school I went to had nuns that shaped me politically to be a left-winger, so I wouldn’t really say there’s a blanket experience of Christianity down here

i remember him talking about how he feels he has to give a large portion of his income to the church. as the owner of a brand he felt that it was his duty to also take money and profit from the brand, to give to the church, because his brand allows him to be successful and fruitful. i cannot remember what interview but he basically says he had no issue with it and would do it again, but thats not why he won't do another brand?
