That’s it, who ever is in charge of color ways at Emerica needs to get fired immediately. It’s not even funny anymore, those are the worst color ways I’ve seen in a while. Pink dicksons? One color way in the figgy g6? Kevin bakkels color way in the slip on is white and black, with a barb wire drawing on the elastic? Give me a break, this is complete trash. I truly try to stand up for Emerica when everyone shits on them but it’s actually a joke now

It’s sad that there were more vegan offerings from Sole Tech ten years ago compared to now, where there is more of a demand.

I would pay full price for a vegan cupsole in a decent colorway, but I guess I’m not part of their demographic.

Similar to what jwdharris said, this catalog would’ve been designed 12-18 months ago, which I believe also coincides with the time that Spanly was trying to get on LRAB, so that probably explains the gap here. Don’t put a shoe in the catalog for the guy that you know is planning to leave your team.

That doesn’t make it any better, Emerica has been churning out some dumb shit since before Made. They should’ve righted the ship a long time ago.

Maybe this Jeff bloke will see how popular the G6 cup is and bring it back at a later date. Who knows.

Other than the G6 cup shoes I owned, I have never seen another pair in the wild. Despite how good they might be (not grippy enough for me), they might not be as popular as a handful of people on SLAP think they are. One of my locals had to deeply discount the Spanky G6 cups.

Having a sole like this in the line up makes sense until it becomes too cost prohibitive.

Tough call because current prices across the board are beyond what we all would like to pay, so paying for the tech WAS reasonable pre covid & global conflict inflation prices.

At $90, a slip on doesn't seem worth it, cupsole or vulc, regardless of tech. It's why so many of us wait for sales. We'd wait for sales on the bigger companies' premium shoes, too if possible. I'd still rather buy the G6, but it would be less frequent with these increased prices. Which, would prompt emerica to drop or scale them back because fewer purchases.

Regardless, you raise an important question that rose colored glasses wearers may forget
