Seems like the only bad thing I’ve heard about Malto was the curse David Gravette talked about where he would always get injured if Sean was on the session.

Malto avoided the NFT promotional nonsense if I remember correctly, hasn’t been part of any scandals, violence, heavy drug consumption that I’m aware of, or just kookery in general.

Sean also put on multiple hats in the last SLS stop by going from judging to competing mid contest with a sense of humor about it. Comes across as a good dude.

I guess Yuto is another contender in this category, but Malto edges him out in terms of brand loyalty.

He 100 is a hardflip kinG in my option which is pretty frickin sweet. Like who has a better hard flip than Malto? No one ive ever seen. He lives in the land of subjective choices for #1.  Switch flips too. Id say that certifies a G as he can make me blush with that catch and arm style.

Also if i had my way. Malto would have ridden for Menace. That style man. We just gotta get him rocking like Big Camos and timbs. His style was so mean tho Youd think he might drive 66.6 miles from some norther most cul-de-sac on the Green Mountain near canadia to come down an take a photo of his gat on the main ledge in town as an insta flex on a rainy day for in the name Grape St 2000 miles away kid.

I want Malto and Gallant to live a thousand years as the two examples of the best Hard flippers to ever breathe breath. I would bet a non skater would consider their trix o pedia examples to be different flip tricks.

I see it. Wish i could do it. Im just a lower case G tho....

Probably if i tightened my back truck and maybe did jumping exercises and shit i could get on a fakie one once more.

Bryan Herman is generally regarded as having the best hardflip and kinda gets the credit for bringing back "real" hardflips in the early 00s and clearing out all the illusionists

I suggest people view Daniel Lebron’s hard flips for another example of hardflips perfected.

I've never cared about Malto's skating. Doesn't interest me at all. For me he would have just became one of "those guys" that are really good but I could care less about. But when Fourstar did their North Of Everything Tour, a friend of mine's female friend hooked up with him and while she was going down on him, Malto reportedly told her "Yeah, get hungry on it girl."

For that I will always like and respect him although his skating still doesn't interest me in the least.
