So sad to hear this. I've been seeing more clips of him lately and was looking forward to see what he will do. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

What is the cause?
[close]

Why does that matter? He's gone, we lost him, it won't make anyone feel better how it happened. It took forever for MF Doom's cause of death to be released and there was so much speculation it was drug related or suicide but it turned out to be a horrible reaction to blood pressure medication. I read about that and realized it wouldn't have changed anything if he was massacred by Indonesian pirates.

Oh get a grip. It’s normal for humans to be curious about things like this. Plus, if it can bring awareness to head injuries then even better people know. Save your virtual signaling for some other forum

Here are two interviews with James, from December 2010 and January 2011. My intent is not to share these to get clicks or whatever, but rather to share some of his skating & words which made him a special skateboarder and person.

RIP

I remember stumbling upon a video around 2010'ish with James skating a a krooked zip zinger, 360 flip nosesliding hubbas (I might be imagining this, however doesn't seem impossible), and I was so impressed by the seemingly huge build guy ripping on a tiny board. Anyone still has that clip?

What the fuck. I just revisited like 3 of his parts out of the blue thinking about that Nollie Tre backside over the rail.

Shed some tears this morning. Truly devastating news to wake up to. Reason To Believe was one of my fave videos as a kid. Condolences to the Hardy family and James' friends. Rest in peace brother.

My deepest condolences to his family, friends and all the lives he touched, I know his skating definitely made an impact on me with the speed, style and grace afforded to such a big man.

Damn RIP.

Makes me despise Heath Kirchart all the more for hazing James and being a dick to him back in the day.
