This is horrible. I know he'd been suffering from some cumulative head injuries for the past few years. Rest easy

This one really hurts. Dude held it down for Alabama and was a big inspiration for me. I even randomly met him at Faith just rolling through and he was a super nice dude. I'll always love his Since Day One and Ride the Sky parts. Rest in Peace BamaHardy

As a bigger skater I always looked up to other 6ft+ boys like Hardy. His Ride The Sky part stayed on repeat.  :(

RIP James  :'(

FUCK. This sucks. I knew he was having seizures. He had my favorite part in "Since Day One." I still watch his part from Faith's "Reason to Believe" to this day. RIP James. Legends never die.

His part starting at 2:10.  Had this DVD and watched his part so many times growing up, favorite part in the video and a huge inspiration to me.  Loved his trick selection and how he made skating rails look interesting and fun, really sad news to hear.

What is the cause?

Why does that matter? He's gone, we lost him, it won't make anyone feel better how it happened. It took forever for MF Doom's cause of death to be released and there was so much speculation it was drug related or suicide but it turned out to be a horrible reaction to blood pressure medication. I read about that and realized it wouldn't have changed anything if he was massacred by Indonesian pirates.

Because he posted about his seizures to due to head injuries from skateboarding. They looked very scary.

Oh get a grip. It’s normal for humans to be curious about things like this. Plus, if it can bring awareness to head injuries then even better people know. Save your virtual signaling for some other forum

There's no virtue signaling going on here. I didn't know he was having seizures from head injuries and get that talking about it is a terrible, but realistic way to stop kids giving themselves CTE for 6 dollars a month. Chris Cole just posted one of his recent slams where he smacked the back of his head super hard at the bottom of a bowl and it was terrifying and foreboding as hell. But blatantly asking for a cause of death off the bat (granted I had no idea Idk knew about the seizures so I apologize) is a bad look imo.
