What shoe brand do you skate most often?

Not looking to see your favorite brand, or brand you like to chill in, but which do you actually skate the most?

Young me would be very disappointed in me with this answer but def Nikes. For like three years when I started skating again I would try anything I could get on sale, tried all the major brands and lots of small ones but honestly the best shoe for me was Leo’s (when I can find em cheap) and blazer mids. I would normally destroy shoes in like a month and a half but Leo’s/blazers last longer (usually two/three months with some shoe goo) and skate perfect. For chillers I use Eras and switch the insole

Nike or Vans. I know I can can just buy a 10.5 and it will fit (unlike some NB# or Cons).

Right now it's the Nike Leo react...my knees LOVE the react insole.

It's usually been Vans for me, but with them raising prices on their shoes it's getting hard to justify getting them when you can get much better options for the same or similar price.

New Balance 480. The full length fuelcell midsole is amazing. It has some bounce to it. Before them I had the 808s and they’re so stiff. It’s like standing on a bed of rock.

Size 12 Vans Skate Classics. I've yet to find any other shoe that fits my weird feet correctly so it's by necessity not choice.

Funny you say that, because the regular Vans Classics seem to work best for me, also size 12, only I strip out the simple footbed in the shoes and put in some modified pro insoles.

Usually Half Cabs, Old Skools and more recently the Sk8 low shoes as my common go to without too much fuss at all, now pretty much all on sale for some of the not so crazy looking ones, so it works out a good deal all round.

I have definitely seen a swing away from Vans because of this, so although some prices are going up a bit, Vans Skate range seems to be going up a lot.

I tried for years to be a DC / eS (core brand) guy before skating and chilling in NB almost exclusively. Size consistency sucks for older models (868, 272, 420) and their soles felt slick when new, but the material on their uppers is insanely durable. And the look down factor is a 10/10, amazing colorways for all looks ranging from muted for office casual or louder for a fun mix up.

Edit: tries Adidas and Nike SB but most models run small and pinch my bunion, same with their running shoes. Now I'm trying to clear my backlog of Busenitz, Janoskis and SB Dunks, sucks especially for the Busenitz since I've tired to make them work on 4 occasions and they hurt too much to wear.

Worn every brand and basically every type of shoe but always end up back at classic vans. Basically what @Scottboarding + @Mbrimson88 said but size 13.
There's no such thing as support in a skate shoe. The word means less than "good board feel" or "great flick"

i switch between vans, converse and shell toes, but vans gets the most airtime. i only buy em used now though because all those trash ass shoes last for 2 weeks (shell toes a month but they cost even more), fuck you skate shoe manufacturers!

I miss being able to reliably get a selection of Soletech brands and others discounted at TK Maxx.

Must have bought about four pairs of Jameson’s for about £25 each.

Picked up a bright orange pair of Eldridge eS shoes for about £30 that became one of my fav shoes despite being a vulc sole.

In my earlier skate years I leaned heavily towards Emerica and then Supra- had plenty of variety of models from both brands.

But Nike have always been a consistent theme for me:
-E-cue’s, Red FC’s, Multiple Janoskis, Tiempos and various other non-skate models.

Supra too: Multiple pairs of Skytop 1’s, Stacks, Hammers (one of my all time fav shoes), Ellington’s later model that looked like a Jordan, Vaider.

It’s always been about price to performance- and not once did I feel let down by the money I spent on Nikes - or Supra for that matter.

i had like 7 or 8 pairs of lrabs when i worked at a shop that carried them, so i got them wholesale, and some of the older drops were discounted even more, got white suede with black sole vm001s or some green high tops for 20 euros, brand new.

now we're talking retail prices, miss me with that shit. good shoes though, better than most vulcs out there

When Huf was around, Sutters/Dylans/Gillettes/Cromers.

If Vans stopped making the Authentic & the Old Skool in all black, I’d skate Cons, CTAS high in black. Nike was a good one when they were loyal to shops but once they sort of pro flowed everyone & initially stopped caring about shops, I stopped. I love the Jamison but that ship has sailed.

I answered New Balance, because I've been skating them most recently. But I have to be close to 50/50 LRAB and NB in terms of purchases. The LR cupsoles just don't fit me, so that's why I'm in NB a lot of the time.

New Balances - the performance of the 1010s is undeniable for me. I tried some eS  swift 1.5 (even added remind insoles) but they hurt my feet SO bad

Been pretty loyal to Vans over the last 6-7 years. They fit me the best. I’ve tried some Cons too because they look cool but not overstated, but the sizing weirdness keeps me going back to Vans. Got three pairs on ice.

I’m actually about skate some Asics next and I’m really hyped to try them (gel vickka). They fit perfect and the silhouette looks very flick-y.
