Hell, if we are going to start redrawing borders, let's have the entire West Coast (minus Alaska), New England, and all of the East Coast down to Virginia (upstate Penn can go to America same with parts of central NY). Canada will keep the Northern territories but America can have Alberta and Manitoba. Minnesota and Michigan can be with Canada and we'll flip a coin for Wisconsin.

I'll try to stay vaguely up to date on whatever atrocities and injustices are being inflicted on the American people (half of which will be cheering it on), and I'll still vote in every election.
I think for at least the next year or so I'm going to bow out of political conversations, I might even unsubscribe from any political YouTube channels for a while. I just get so angry and it's not helpful. I'm gonna close ranks and focus on my friends, family and local community.
I never signed up for Twitter/X, quit facebook almost a decade ago, never got on Tik Tok.
Instagram is the last social media I occasionally look at but I'm about done with it too.
It's about to be overrun by racist homophobes anyways...

It is interesting to find out what we would really do as the USA is led into chaos and we alienate our long term allies, which will weaken the USA and Europe and benefit the BRICS ascension to global dominance... in turns out most of us would continue to go to work and just be dismayed with our powerlessness to turn the tide. Until there is a feeling of mass support to change things, what else can we do? Most voting Americans chose this nightmare because under the Biden admin our experience of post-pandemic global inflation was lower than most of our peers and because the anti-vax idiots super loud nonsense gained traction.

I think we all need to start thinking about running for local low city and county offices. It doesn't take much to get elected to a local spot and maybe the skate demographic is big enough to get us into local power.

Pretty much how I've felt for the last few months. I refuse to engage with anyone. Just more focused on protecting myself and those around me and making sure to be prepared for the worst. Also getting in practice at the range at least once a month when I have a chance.

Post-pandemic every hard good has become more expensive. This will make every deck a luxury item. Razor tails all around, focussing will be an anachronism.

Weigh in whoever, but I'm particularly interested in what industry folk have to say about this.
