Michelle Obama went to Princeton.   Melania was Epstein's whore.

Sen Marsha Blackburn from TN criticized SCOTUS Judge Ketanji Jackson for being at the Grammys and is insisting they probe into the attendance. She said her being there (she was nominated for a book she narrated), where anti-ICE comments were made, makes her question her ethics and whether she can remain politically impartial.

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5726897-justice-jackson-grammy-controversy/amp/

Blackburn ignored all glossed over all accusations and evidence of Clarence Thomas accepting high-value gifts as well as Alito’s flying the flag upside down when Biden was elected. But this, this is where she puts her foot down.

All republicans are disingenuous. However, I don’t think Supreme Court justices should do anything but Supreme Court things. They have the most impactful jobs in the country, so they don’t need to write books or give speeches or narrate films. I’m so tired of how these public servants are always trying to work some angle to make money or boost their status. If I were paid $300K to be a Supreme Court justice or $175K for Congress I wouldn’t be worrying about a side hustle. There is too much money in politics and most of these people are on the take. I’ve always said Congress people should have corporate sponsor patches on the suit jackets so we know who is paying them off.

surplus doesnt equate to lower prices
for high demand resources
having it all means you call the price

“surplus” means nothing in a culture
where excess is perpetually undefined
and “having it all” is the championed idea

nobody says they have a surplus of gold
it would be referred to as a vault of gold,
which will always be expanded upon to fit more gold
well before the word “surplus” is ever used

military might will be demonstrated
before there is ever a true scarcity for any resource
that is how the new world was built
and will systematically continue to operate

Wrong. Biden and Obama control the oil prices.

Kash Patel and the FBI conclude the Epstein wasn’t running a trafficking ring and no client list exists.

https://www.axios.com/2025/07/07/jeffrey-epstein-suicide-client-list-trump-administration

Yea, I 100% expect Trump to release Ghislane and posthumously give Epstein the Presidential Freedom Award. All before suing the victims.

I googled it.  Drilling continues because:

- drilling leases require continuous drilling or you lose the lease
- it’s risky and expensive to slow or stop drilling because the well might not start pumping again
- making plans for the future when wells decline in production
- lower profit better than no profit
- regaining market share to prevent smaller producers from getting in there
-  need for constant cash flow

That’s an article from July but the current articles contain the same information. The AG said in February that the client list was sitting on her desk. After more documents got released, Patel and Bondi said no list exists.

If JE didn’t traffic girls, why is Clinton’s testimony needed? Trump himself said that the list is all Democrats.

I’m sick of all the lies. Fuck the rich and fuck the politicians who get away with actual crimes. There’s no accountability for rich bootlickers in this shithole country.

Seriously, corruption in front of our face:

Why the need to wipe the conviction from his record? Easy, to make sure he can get security clearance once more. Fucking insane how the DOJ, FBI, DHS, DNI, etc., are all just his "yes men."

Actions alone proves Maxwell knows too much.

But yea, I doubt any of Epstein’s victims will ever see justice while this admin is in office. The only way I assume anyone will be held accountable is only after Trump’s death. Only then will MAGA not have to fear him or his mandate for loyalty, so they’ll all feel free to be “righteous” and speak up.

It’s not in the article posted above, but Republicans passed the SAVE Act in the House. Tell your non-MAGA friends and relatives to get a passport and/or REAL ID as soon as possible, so they aren’t disqualified from voting. If they have a non-REAL ID, their name on the ID has to match their birth certificate to be able to vote. We’ll probably have sham elections, but we should at least try to vote these pedophile-loving bootlickers out of office.

No more approval ratings because they don’t support Cheeto Dick’s desired approval.

What is weird to me about this one is that is isn't hard to read thermometer, we've kept simple records of temperature for a long time, and we can do simple experiments in a classroom to show how carbon traps heat.

No amount of science is going to sway their opinion and truly, it's not even about that, it's about kickbacks, personal enrichment, lobbying and the all-mighty dollar...

The whole system is a sham until politicians can't be bought by corporate interest, but sadly, that's never going to happen in my lifetime, as all previous attempts have failed, been repealed or simply loopholes were exploited to get around the rules...

And of course they are going to try and rig the midterm elections with the SAVE Act and whatever other jackboot thug tactics they try and pull, but we can't let that stop us, we need to take it to the streets if necessary, as our only hope is that we can vote these despicable people out of office and vote with our dollars. This past year is going to mobilize a lot of people who abstained from voting in the last cycle, whether they will actually be able to vote is to be seen...

This country is a fucking joke...

They always knew about it. Oil and gas company execs simply chose to do nothing about the problem and focus on profits and pass the problems onto future generations. And they're still doing it.

It has been another in a seemingly endless series of tough weeks for American (and for the rest of the world, because of America). I read something I had written in a post here almost a year ago and it was helpful so I'll repost it now.

Quote
I, and any other reasonable American, struggle daily with what is happening and the feeling of powerlessness. Learning that our rights are not inalienable and checks-and-balances was not enforceable has been a tough transition, and even if things recover politically, the illusion of it all can never return. I, personally, have the most trouble with comprehending how other people can seem to be enjoying the cruelty and misfortune.

That being said, please please try to enjoy the little things in front of you. It is ok to take a break from the news and social media and just focus on some of the good things that can come with the human experience: foods you enjoy, skating, music, playing with your dog, your favorite movie... whatever it may be.

Sadly, having compassion and dignity is an act of rebellion for an American these days, so if you can express that just a little bit then you have done something to fight the horrible shift in values we are experiencing. We may not be able to end the hate, violence, emotional stupidity, bullying, and cruelty being inflicted upon us (and infecting so many), but we can make the world a little better for someone in a small way and that does make a difference.

I hope everyone out there stays safe and is able to muster up a tiny bit of kindness and joy. This country and perhaps world may be heading to shit, but that doesn't mean our specific communities have to go there as well.

I agree with this. It's emotionally draining that even during the Olympics, when Americans should be uniting to cheer on our athletes, I'm seeing people vilify people winning for America. Calling fellow Americans fake-Americans and hoping they lose and/or leave and/or cheer their less than gold performances.

Saw a family acquaintance on Meta whine how if USA had a real American on the team, they would have won Gold instead of Silver. I had to reply and said that "fake American" brought home two golds prior and was happy to see her protege win gold. That's the olympic spirit. The response from them was tiring.

Didn't somebody here suggest the administration is trying to let the USPS fail so they can bankrupt it, get their grubby hands all in it and kill mail-in voting?

I saw a recent article about the USPS's fiscal losses recently and immediately thought of that.

I read somewhere too that they want the usps to fail so they can have amazon take over for the post offices.

They never fully said it, but the implication was there. Trump’s former postmaster DeJoy had stock in UPS and other conflicting companies.

Things he implemented made USPS less efficient such as killing sorting machines for the slower hand sorting. Then Trump also constantly claimed the USPS was losing money every year. Thing in, USPS is a SERVICE not a BUSINESS.

USPS is especially needed in rural areas where mail is sent to these areas for pennies on the dollar, versus if FedEx sent it, that same postage would be hundreds of dollars more.

Basically, GOP want to privatize everything. Jails, social securiy, health, military, etc. Its more profitable to them when you own stock in a company that gets government contracts.
