China has amazing cities, some are huge and crazy. Its seems like people from US dont know shit about china. Thats crazy. China is way bigger than USA and much more diverse in terms of urbanization styles and landscape.
Try to visit china. Its the future.
Plus, citzens from big and mid cities there are really living a prosperous life. Way better than the average american.
Us, nowadays, are just a poor country with a lotta money under a matress nobody can acccess
The pollution. The political persecution. The forced labor and human rights violations. The animal welfare offenses. The Muslim slave camps. The human trafficking. The mass surveillance & social credit system. The crackdown and censorship of journalists. The government LGBTQ/social discrimination. The expansive military aggression. Etc. Etc. No thanks.
Not to sound patriotic or defend America's own flaws but the GDP, Quality of Life index, Property/Income Ratio and Unemployment% are just a few of many statistics that are easy to find and that indicate the opposite of your economic assertion.
Not sure what you heard or read but their economy and standard of living is shit right now. Many of the large cities you described are mostly deserted ghost towns because of the stagnant economy. "The future", I really hope not. Many of their citizens are quite literally trying to escape.
Perhaps you missed the part where I said "not to defend America's own flaws" and comparing the US to China on those issues is like comparing salt water to gasoline. You should educate yourself on the topic or better yet go there. Live there. Pretty please. Fly your freak flag, start a small business, jaywalk and see what happens.
Your comments on social credit and pollution alone speak to your level of ignorance and privilege. Please find me one religious slave labor concentration camp in the US, I'll give you as much time as you need.
I notice that you conveniently left the animal welfare, Muslims camps, LGBTQ and journalist censorship off of the checklist.
This is not an excuse for the USA's massive flaws, it's simply a rebuttal to touting China as promising, superior to the US economically and "the future".
