Everyone in this thread should watch Powell's video Animal Chin and then report back to this thread when you understand the concept that Skateboarding is about having fun. If you have fun riding a SKATEBOARD, whether you are cruising (Or fucking ripping) on a longboard or killing it street skating, then that is all that matters.

Longboarding is not some "improvement" of skateboarding.. it's COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.. Can you not get that through your thick skull, and into your tiny brain? Skateboarding isn't broken, there's nothing wrong with it.. Skate to your heart's content.. We have no problem with that!! Tricks aren't for the boards.. but most of the tricks you do are for skateboarders.. NOT longboarders.. So what I can't kickflip my longboard.. I don't want to either.
Oh, and by the way.. I've never once in my life met or spoke to a longboarder who would even consider owning a pooka shell necklace..

ive always gotten the feeling that most longboarders, roller bladers, and bikers all really wish that they could be skateboarders, but are too proud to admit it and start up because theyve gone too far with their other hobby/sport.

relax, put away the longboard, and then find out what real skateboarding is. going down hills gets old if that is the only thing you do.
