Yeah they're a weird textured suede, theres a pattern embossed into it.

Just got the Silas 2 and I only skated them once so far but I'd say it's a pretty slept on shoe. The stripes are actually like ribs which makes the shoe feel nice and solid, but the sole is still super flexible from the beginning.

Just got these in the mail and I'm stoked! The waxed canvas has the feel and look of leather, which is cool. I'm not going to skate them though, they're relatively hard to find now and probably wouldn't last that long.

I definitely bought those a half size smaller because they stretch so damned much.  Pretty awesome grip too.

had the exact waxed canvas filters, awesome shoe but bad durability.  If you can pick up a suede pair of filters jump on them awesome board feel, good stability from the sole and has the flex from the vulc.  Great shoe minus the durability and looks great too

The new Provost shoe is pretty legit. Nice grippy vulc sole, but really comfortable with that full length G6 foam footbed. Didn't really need shoes but they had 1 pair left in my size at my shop and didn't want to miss out. I know 2 weeks from now when I would need them, they would be gone. love shoes that you can skate right out of the box and don't need to be broken in... Anyways, that's what they look like after about 3 hours of skating ledges and manual pads at a skate plaza yesterday.

Solid! They look like a proper replacement for the Cruisers.

Just got a pair of the Herman G6's in the limited edition 420 colorway (Navy/gum). Put them on about 15 minutes ago and they feel great right out of the box, nice and light, very comfortable. I'll update after I skate in them (probably tomorrow.)

Just got these joints in the mail today and I'm FUCKIN WITH EM. As soon as I put em on they felt like a super-comfy, supportive skate shoe. I thought I was gonna wear these for a long while before I skated em, but I dunno...If there's enough of a demand ill wear em around for a couple of days just to break em in, skate in em for a while & do another shoe review.

those are a fucking steal for $35. cheapest I've ever gotten em for was $60. Where'd you get those?

Plndr has a three colorways half off with code SURFSUP they have all white canvas in 8.5 and 10, the grey/white in 7-8 and 10 and black/blue black sole in 7-13 but those ones are a little more expensive. If you're not a member yet you can use my invite code ;)

They usually run a full size up so I guess they have changed that. I have a pair. In 11 which are basically a 12.  Crusty the clown vibes
