I'm skating those same Gravis Artos too and they're so good! I wish more shoes had that rubber ollie patch.

Cons came in yesterday. They're definitely the older CTS ones but they still have the neon green lunarlon insoles for some reason. They fit alright though, just a little tight and the tongue pops up kind of weird. Should I go white or black laces? I'm thinking white to keep it classic.

Where did you order them from? I have been wanting the black and white ones with lunarlon for awhile.

surprisingly after most people on here say that Converse run a half to a full size down, these fit true to size for me. The lunarlon insole is great.

can you let me know how these are? I've never had chucks and I'm curious as to how these new ones skate

Here, they're $40 with free shipping but there's not that many sizes left. Mine are the older, more padded ones but they still have the new lunarlon insole. Not sure how that works but I got the best of both worlds.

I forgot to include the link sorry!

These are my Lakai Guy XLKs after maybe 5-6 hours of skating

This is one great skate shoe, even better than my previous Howard XLKs. The shoe skates amazing and is proving to be very durable. The shoe feels like is has more too it on the upper than the Howards did but the sole is thin which is prefect for a modern cupsole. My heel and ankle feel very secure because of the plastic/rubber cup that hold it in place without sacrificing range of motion at all. I can tell the sole will last forever and the upper will have a slightly above average durability.

I'm not really feeling them. Walking around, they're comfy. But as soon as I step on my board, I can't feel a thing. If anyone wants a size 10 pair of those skated in one time for dirt cheap, get at me.

I'm quoting this because these have easily been the best shoes I've skated this year. Comfy, durable, broke in quick, and looked good on your feet. A+, Lakai.

Lately, I've been skating G6s and I'm a little disappointed. After everyone said the shoe was durable as hell, I bought a pair, but I've only had them for three weeks and the sole is pretty much totally gone.
The Lakai Mariano is great, really one of the best shoes I've skated. It's the perfect hybrid of board feel/support, it was broken in the moment I stepped on my board, but I haven't gotten any primo or sharp pain on hard impact yet.

bummer.  my KA-I Vulcs and KA-IIs are both lunarlon and the board feel is awesome...and this coming from someone who enjoys skating Vans for the "board feel"
hardly art, hardly starving

Is anyone else having problems with the canvas Chimas? Im at least 12 sessions deep and they are stiff as anything, and they rub my pinky toes raw. I dont have a wide foot at all either. Easily the most disappointing shoe purchase I have made.

The sole?

Weird, mine wore down after a month or so. Longer than most shoes I have had in a while.

How the fuck did you make it 12 sessions?!?!  I skated them for around 10 hours ( 3-4 small sessions ) and was through the side of the shoe to the sock and that was with a minimal number of flip tricks!  As for the rubbing, mine did that for the first day and then were ok after that.  I didn't expect the canvas to hold up but had hopes the rubber underlay would, like it is marketed to.  But yeah, I wasn't impressed.

This Adidas Seeley Mid is one of the nicest shoes I've bought all year.

I just got them a few days ago so I can't speak yet to the overall durability, but so far so good. The support and fit is not what I was expecting, but all for the positive. Great ankle support. It's technically a canvas shoe, but it's structured canvas, if that makes any sense. A rigid, structured canvas. The heel cup locks your heel. Literally locks your heel into place. The insole and board feel is similar to the Rayado.

currently skating the canvas chimas (hawaiian) and its been maybe 8 sessions in them and no hole yet. my main complaint is that i infact DO have wide feet and rub my pinky toes raw as well.. i usually enjoy skating canvas shoes because i dont flick too hard, but the canvas on the chimas is stiff as hell.  i think half a size up i would be satisfied but i really dont think i'll buy another pair, of canvas ones at least.
