They do have the new insole, but I don't use them. I put Remind 'medic' insoles in all my pairs.

The OG pair I had blk/orange, lasted a while, when I skated them back then. The sole wore down before the toe area blew out.

How do you like those insoles? Any complaints?

Fuck those things, I bought a pair and it's like you have to buy your shoes a half size too big if you want them to fit comfortably, and the boardfeel is nonexistant

yeah, there's a layer underneath the canvas, making it last longer.

sorry for the huge pic

Just got a pair of the new Vincent Alvarez shoes, gonna wear them around for a while first, they seem a little stiff. If there is interest I'll write a little review on 'em.

Please. And how do they fit?

I had the G6 before this in the same size (9.5) and these feel a little tighter. The insoles also aren't the super kushy ones that Lakai has in the Marc's and other shoes, they're just a basic thin flat insole, I believe the same that's in the Griffin. I'm going to start skating them probably this weekend, I'll let you guys know how I like 'em, they look great on foot as well.

Anyone skate the Romero Troubadour? I did a forum search and it didn't turn much up. I've been waiting on the Lakai Howard Mid but want to buy something now to hold me over.

It's either Half Cabs or the Troubadour.

Might as well try it. It's still part of the new "Higher Quality" campaign. Just hasn't gotten nearly as much shine or press as the G6 and Reynolds.

What size did you get for your Reynolds? Same as Blazers?

My Blazers fit way too big on me.  I had them laced tight as cleats and my feet still slipped around everywhere

I hated these. They felt like bricks. The sole was noticeably heavier than every other vulc shoe I've had. I just couldn't get used to them

Got some kinda sticky stuff on the canvas, OCD kicked in, had to cut it off. It sucks cause you're right, no wear on the soles yet I have a hole out of no where. Gotta look like a kook for a couple days I guess.

i just got new tnt5s, gotta agree, they feel weird. the heel feels higher and the suede is a bit rougher.

Same here. the heel also feels less sturdy, if that makes sense. I couldn't feel a difference in how they skated though, all that matters.

I bought two pairs a while ago when they had that eS ebay sale, and I have yet to skate them, I just can't break them in, they fit fine size-wise, but they're just so goddamn uncomfortable. Bummer because I really wanna skate them.
