these shoes looked really different at the time kind of like a throwback to 2k times and they were mad comfy. at the time  everything was a basic vulc/janowski except these and what emerica did with the westgates. nb wasn't around yet as a skatebrand i think.

Still one of the best feeling skate shoes ever. Plus my friend who has shoe madness recons to this day, he did some of his best skating ever in Project BA’s.

Yet another brown shoe I wish had a white or gum outsole.   Black outsoles just don’t work with me

step out of your comfort zone and embrace. especially when its a brown shoe with black soles. The GTpro hightop ACG that was brown and black is one of my favorite shoes ever done, and I felt the same way prior, that I didn't like black soles on any shoes. but these dime reebok just work well with the black sole.

Yeah, I second this. I was SUPER not into black soles on shoes, but I recently picked up some of the LRAB VM001 Highs in the dusty blue/black and they've super grown on me. Plus I get tons of compliments.

I had those!   Those worked for me, partially because of the speckling on the outsole looked so good.    But I’ll keep my heart open guys.  There’s a pair of brown half cabs with a black outsole coming up that just might find a loving home with me

Been skating the 84 lows for the last couple of months. Took awhile to break in but they aren’t too bad. If I’m skating shoes that have a long break in period I’ll probably stick with the superstars though.

Picked up a pair of Brightons to keep the Lakai train rolling.
I wish I had gone .5 size up just to put in a beefier insole, and my only other complaint is that they don’t have tongue straps or a lace loop on the tongue. Other than that they are super light weight and feel kinda the same as the Manchester.
