i?m wearing the new reynolds low vulcs right now!

i was wondering if anyone already has the new herman g 6 vulcs and wanted to ask if they fit true to size, cause i think about ordering those!

i?m asking cause the reynolds run half a size big for me, and i recently had issues with my regular g6 cause it was half a size small. i usually wear size 8 in all my shoes!
with the new reynolds, the width of the shoe is fine in size 8, but length wise they feel bigger.

if anybody has info on the sizing of the new g 6 vulcs i would appreciate it!

I picked up a pair of Herman vulcs a couple weeks ago (black with gumsole) and I would say they run a half size big. I wear 11 almost all the time, but got the Hermans in 10.5 and they feel really good. Half size down the length felt much better. I have a wider foot too and didn't experience any discomfort in the width going with the 10.5. I tried the Reynolds on too and the 11 felt  longer than normal for sure, shop didn't have 10.5 in them so I just went with the Herms. The Hermans feel like they have more support too because they have the G6 insoles in them. Hope that helps.

i feel the same about nb# sizing.  but i like the fact that when i get my true size(12), my feet stretch the suede to just the right.  There's no 'after flop' in the shoe at all.
[close]

Agree. I have a pair of every model NB# make - and skate them - and have bought my normal size. They stretch perfectly to your foot. I wouldn't size up or down.

EDIT: Explaining that a little further...the upper on the Stratford, Logan and Quincy is soft. It's not rigid and stiff. They feel very similar to how most running shoes feel out of the box. (no coincidence) And although they are soft and ready to go, they don't breakdown, they form to your foot. I honestly wouldn't size up in any of those because you will likely hate the fit after a few sessions. As for the Brighton, it's a little more structured and rigid out of the box. It's a nice shoe, but it's my least favorite to skate in. That's not a slight at all, because it's a really nice shoe, just that those other 3 are better for skating. The heel lock in the Logan is second to none.

And NB use the same great insoles across all their shoes.
[close]

I just ordered some brighton highs...lets see if they live up to your praises haha
[close]

The Brighton Hi was the first NB shoe I skated! I like the Brighton Hi a lot more than the Brighton Lo. You will be psyched. Comparatively speaking, I can tell you that they are going to fit a lot more close to your foot and ankle than the Lakai Indio did for you. They may feel weird at first, but you'll love them.
Just picked up the stratfords yesterday and was worried about the sizing. I was so close to getting a 10.5 but then thought back to previously when I had gone a size up thinking it was a good idea and then my shoes are so loose and I can't even skate them after breaking them in. So happy I have gone with normal size now. I love when my shoe has no room and it is a perfect fit. Skating feels so much better.

So the NB brighton hi's...not as high as I wanted, but still feel decent ankle supports so that's fine.
The sole is reaaally soft which is good so far, maybe i'll switch it with a FP insole if problems come up later on.
grip is pretty good, I don't know what material they use but it's super sticky even at the shallower parts of the tread pattern.

I just got the huf classic los in the mail. They look way better in person from all views and actually look good from the top view. The suede is pretty thick and looks durable. Not really feeling the sole(very flat and not too grippy) or how the heel has no padding at all. They definitely should not be priced at $80.

I've been having a shoe crisis lately, i've hated the last few pairs i've skated besides a pair of Huf southerns. So i decided i just need to skate a pair of vans to end that shit spree.

Anyone have advice between era pros and cab lites? The cab lites are mid which is nice, but they dont have the double wrapped foxing so i think i would blow through that in a few kickflips. Always wanted to skate era pros but i heard they get super floppy pretty quick. Franks guys.

Literally my favorite shoe, skating some barbees now and they're awesome, they do get kinda floppy quick, but thats a plus for me. I've got enough too last me till armageddon and then some. newer models all have a duracap strip along the toe and siding, only made it through too that once but it held up well.

I have a pair of the Gato's and they didn't really fit as great as I hoped they would. They have got nothing on the Samba as far as soccer shoes go. The Gato just don't have that slim fit that the Samba does so well. If they made a skate Samba and changed nothing but the durometer of the sole I'd be in love.

The Silas SLR is similar to the samba but a different toe box. Might be too wide if its the snug fit you're after.

Found for 25 bucks and I couldn't pass up. I've wanted some Dunks for a long time but I never wanted to pay big $$$ for em. I colored the teal swooshes in black and I might make a few more alterations to make the shoe less loud or maybe I'll just leave it and accept its flamboyance.

I've been skating this colourway too. They do look better the more fucked up they get. Make me feel like I'm in the Wizard of Oz! It is a shame the mock red snake skin makes them a bit sweaty though. Can't go wrong with cheap dunks.

True to size for me. Not a great "out of the box" shoe so I'd wear them around for a few days before skating in them.

for me they're a half size up

Tried on a pair of UK 10's (10's were just right in lucas and busenitz adv) and they were a bit too snug.  They may have stretched a little but  I knew I'd always be thinking I should've sized up a little.

I am wearing the Habitat Expo (Janoski like).
Didn`t skate it yet, but will within the next two weeks.

Has anyone skated a pair of Habitat shoes before?
It feels like a decent shoe.

I don't know about the Expo, but I skated a pair of Danny Garcia's shoe and it did not last long, but while it did I freaking loved the way those things skated.

Skating these

I've skated those 3 times now (around 5-6 hours).
No Big difference with the OG Blazer. They feel a tiny bit snugger than the OG but that could be explained by the new sock liner. The swoosh is made of some screened material just like the toe cap, which reduce the aesthetical effects of the abrasion.
It's the OG Blazer with some light updates, and I'm so happy with it.

just got the g6 vulcs in the mail- bought them during the 4th of july sale on the emerica site- went a half size down and they fit reeeally snug, but i know they will become wider just by walking in them.

pretty hyped on the shoe so far, it?s even slimmer than the reynolds vulc, but definetly has the better insole. when i?m done skating my reynolds vulcs the g6 vulcs will be my next skateshoes.
as far as skating the new models goes i predict emerica to get all my money this year!

heard there?s talk of a g6 cruiser or something? is it the one in the upcoming shoe releases thread from the tradeshow?
