. I guess I just don't know about supporting Supra.

 ::) dare i ask why?

Just not really my thing I guess. Nothing philosophical, just not entirely sure I dig the aesthetic of the brand. To each their own.

EDIT: For instance, I thought Stevie's S1W shoe was outrageously comfortable, but I would look ridiculous in a pair. Absolutely ridiculous.

Been skating them for a week now, ripped the laces today. Just put a fresh one in the left shoe.

Sick Tate! kinda off topic but im stoked to see that SML sticker.  ;D

Good wheels for sure! Plus.. They are thin. I like thin shaped wheels. The slimmer the better for me.

anyone skated the classic lo or hi hufs yet?
[close]

yeah I got the los when they first came out, so I've been skating em for around a month?
a hole ripped open on the side within the first week from ollies which I sort of expected since the suede is so thin.
I cut a strip of suede out from an old pair of shoes and duct taped it inside to patch the hole and they've been skating great since.
the outsoles are starting to wear out.

I can tell these are overpriced shits just like the Sutters

Just got some I Path cats.....I mean the Dekline Emmett.  I had tons of pairs of Cats in high school, so I'm hoping I enjoy these just as much.

So you had to Frankenstein an obviously better quality shoe onto a shoe that didn't even hold up a week? I would complain to HUF. That's inexcusable for the price. At least the Dylans are almost worth it thanks to the leather. (Skating some now 😎)

Here's a link to a Ripped Laces review for the Hammer. I've been thinking about getting a pair recently too.
http://www.rippedlaces.com/2013/03/supra-hammer-review-with-nicasio-fernandez/

I tried the Reynolds vulc on and it seemed to fit kinda long and didn't seem to have very much insole support. Everything else about the shoe was really nice, just not as much support as some of the other Emericas I've had.
i'l second this, good shoe but a bit thinner insole compared to the Herman G6 Vulc or the Provost.

Skating Huf Peppers right now and the tread is wearing out faster than any Vans I've ever had. It's not the H tread and I haven't been skating them on a board with fresh grip either. Probably won't be getting another pair of Hufs any time soon.

same with me, but they did not lose their grip at all, so no complaints here. lasted surprisingly long.

I had a really good experience with that shoe too.  Not sure why people are bummed on Huf's quality.

My Choice's got so slippery before the tread and outsole grip was gone.  They just slide around everywhere now on tricks, even with new griptape

Goddammit Nike. Got these on sale for 40 bucks. I have a pair of the old Bruins and I really like them, but these are a serious improvement over the original.
They've got a inner sock lining thing that really makes them comfortable. The suede feels a lot more supportive too. I really don't know why this shoe doesn't get more love.

Agreed all around. I have a pair that I have put into rotation with my other kicks. I love the fit and feel. They are just a little long in the toe for my tastes, but keep in mind I like my shoes to fit really snug the whole way around. The heel lock in these is outstanding and I love how the shoe basically wraps your entire foot and ankle up to the part of your ankle that sticks out.

To the durability point, people can rip Nike all day for various things but durability isn't one of them. Sure you'll always have a random story of a shoe falling apart but Nike has the durability angle on lock. These Bruins and the Koston 2 are virtually bulletproof. Just really well designed and constructed.

I own and use a pair of the Busenitz Pro for Work and i swear they feel like puffy aunthentics. The Sole is so damn thin that i could feel the ground and they kind of hurt if you are standing on them for a couple of hours. I'm not sure if i get a defected pair or they just bottom out really quick. As for those Accel's...they bring so much memories!!! i kinda want to skate them right now but i'm almost sure they're gonna feel like moon boots after skating vulcs and thin cup soles for the past 6-7 years.

I've been skating an old pair of dunks from before they changed the shape and sole, and was thinking about getting a new pair.
Old dunks are bullet proof but they lack a bit of boardfeel and grippyness.
What are the main différences? Have they improved the grippyness and the boardfeel on the new ones?

Thanks for any feeback

They did improve grippyness and IMHO boardfeel is the same as on the old ones. New ones have also improved heel lock on low models.

If cupsole and/or non-paper thin shoes are your thing then you should just get them and be happy that you did. They are so goddamn comfy and skate so good that when I skate them, I forget why I get any other shoes ever
